BIG4 Whiters Holiday Village reviews
63 We went there for a break and to use the Red Kidney Bus that was parked there at whiters.
It was so convenient and also staff couldn’t do enough for us. The nurses on bus were sooo good and kind too. We come each year and we are not disappointed!
I have been staying here regularly for work over the past 2 months. The cabins are beautifully clean, well equipped & comfortable. Close to shops & amenities with a coffee cart opposite the entrance gor my morning caffeine hit. My home away from home & Kylie couldn't be more helpful & delightful to have greet me after my long day driving.
We had 5 of the best days in Whiters Big4, facilities are fantastic, staff greet with smile and enthusiasm which is rare today.
Definitely re booking again this year.
Stayed for three nights on pay 2 stay 3.
We had a two bedroom cabin which was very good. The main bedroom had a reading light, bedside table and a double power point on both sides.
Didn't use pool or any other common areas.
Would definitely stay again.
Thank you for helping us out last week when our other park let us down Thank you for a fantastic stay your staff wonderful the park is very clean and tidy my grandkids had a great time we will definitely be coming back
Always a great stay when we are here. This was our 2nd time and went be our last.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
It truly feels like a home away from home when we are there. It's clean, spacious and has basic cooking needs in the cabin.
Clean and spacious cabin with comfortable bed, close to the beach and all amenities. Friendly staff
Very happy with our stay! Affordable and CLEAN! Reception were very polite. Will definitely stay again!
We had a fantastic time! From riding the pedal cars, swimming and finishing the day with a popular choice movie, seriously contemplated staying longer! We will be back, couldn't believe how much fun we had staying in!
Once again, we were made feel very welcome with staff only to happy to accommodate our every need. The cabins are so clean and tidy and very comfortable
Very clean and well looked after. Reception were friendly and welcoming. The cabin had everything you need for a nice stay. Happy travellers and would most differently stay again
Whiters have "nailed it" for Big 4 at Lakes Entrance. It's 1 street back off the Highway, but in one way that's a positive, because it is away from the traffic noise, so you're guaranteed a good night's sleep. On the downside, you'll need to jump back in the car to get out to a restaurant for dinner, although it's still close enough to many eateries if you're up for a short walk.
Typical good quality "Big4" style cabins. Really fresh, spacious, and modern feel with very "up to date" fitout. Very comfortable.
Reception Staff really friendly and helpful.
Whiters is definitely one of my favourite "stop-overs" on the coast run between Sydney & Melbourne, and they don't insist on the (mindlessly stupid) "2 nights minimum" policy for cabins that some Big4's have put in place. (Won't mention names.but they'll know who I'm talking about!)
Kylie was very welcoming and helpful when we arrived. It's family run and you can tell they put a lot of effort into caring for and maintaining the park. We always saw cleaners and maintenance workers around cutting the lawns and emptying bins.
Cabin is a bit dated decor wise, however all the amenities such as the washer and dryer are new and efficient.
We stayed for a week (family of 3) and we found it had everything we needed. Lots of storage and lots of kitchen utensils, pots and pans which normally are very scarce when you stay at a caravan park.
About 10 - 15 minutes walking distance to town and 90 mile beach with a pram.
Only downfall is the toilet kept running during our stay. We were in a "garden view, " cabin which is at the front of the park near the road. You can hear the traffic, so if you are a light sleeper, I would recommend trying to book a cabin further back.
Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay!
Room pretty good. Nice pool. Fun table tennis table (1$ balls would recommended bringing own). Fun little area lots of things to do.
Well this was meant to be a great family trip away, not that enjoyable. Good friendly greeting on arrival however was taken back by the wifi statement “we can’t guarantee for all cabins”…. Yup that’s right, wifi available but not for all which was never stated prior & super great with young kids & the rainy weather for the first few days. Tried games room but half was broken or out of order, no dvds on offer of you didn’t get wifi so not much to do when stuck inside!
Room was ok, nice & quiet for mid week & was neat but an issue with ants. Old outdated appliances & the beds were horrible. Don’t like feeling springs in my back! The day before checking out we requested to check out later by 1-2hrs to allow out out of routine 3 month old to sleep as he has averaged 9: 00-9: 30 naps this trips. That fell of def ears by the old & unempathetic receptionist!
Wouldn’t recommend & we won’t ever be back! It may even be our last big4 park as this was beyond disappointing!
Met expectations, although I couldn't understand why I was charged an extra $20p/night for a 2.5 year old that slept in his own portacot?
We got to stay in one of the cabins over the new year and will be back. Cabin was clean, kids loved it with playing with other kids everyday and making new friends.
Very clean cabins. The park itself is in exceptionally good condition. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here.
Best choice. It was sanitized. Good place for kids to play as well. Pool with 3 different depths.kids can play cycle or scooters too.
Me and the kids were accommodated in a cabin after we had originally booked at another holiday park but upon arrival discovered ants had taken residence in our cabin As the park had no other cabins available, the lady at reception rang Big4 Whiters and luckily there was a cabin available.
All I can say is everything happens for a reason it was meant to be that we stay at this park. The 2 bedroom cabin was very clean, the amenities were great, the pools were fantastic for the kids as was the games room. The park was nice and quite. Staff were very helpful. Location is close to everything very convenient. I had originally booked 4 nights but decided to book an extra 2 nights as we loved were we where staying. (Time stayed from 18th Dec - 24th Dec 2021) One of the best Big4 holiday parks we have stayed at so far. We look forward to staying here in the future. ️
