BIG4 Shepparton Park Lane Holiday Park reviews
51 We stayed on a powered site, Theresa and Deb were a wealth of information, where to eat, shop, sites to see
Lovely and clean amenities
Highly recommend
This park is managed by the friendliest staff who go above and beyond to ensure your needs are met. We were allowed to leave our van on-site till after check in due to sports tournament.
The toilets and showers were immaculate and plentiful without waiting.
Thank you team! Keep up the amazing work
Came here during the grand final long weekend. Awesome location. If you don’t mind the noise come from the airfield front of the big4 then great spot. Very friendly staff.
Dog friendly too
Great place, stayed here for work and couldn't be better. Will have to bring the kid up next time.
Stayed for one night wirh 4 teenagers and couldn’t be happier. Great beds, really clean, excellent shower and easy to get in/out. Perfect for family accom.
Our dog and us had a wonderful stay! We stayed on powered sites. The site is covered with grass and it is very large and even. Makes it really easy to find a spot to put the tent on it. We love that this park is doggie friendly. And we are lucky to have all of the neighbours to be so friendly and nice during our stay The late check in is available and smooth. Will definitely come back.
We had an enjoyable 2 night stay. Very friendly staff upon arrival and departure. Our TV wasn't working and it was fixed right away.
The jumping pillow and kids area were great for my kids. We chose a standard cabin for the extra room to have a couch and dining area.
My children are young (3 and 4yo) and the bunks were floor level so I felt really safe with them sleeping there. The whole cabin was shaking when we walked around but that's just the nature of the way it's built I'm guessing.
The heating was on when we arrived and everything was clean and inviting. People have talked about the noise, I always travel with earplugs so even the rooster calling didn't bother me so much.
We enjoyed our stay and the weather didn't allow us to enjoy some of the perks of Big 4 membership (we wanted to try the pedal cars) but next time. A central and convenient place to stay when visiting Shepparton.
The only con for me really was the advertised WiFi that wasn't accessible from our cabin.
Fab caravan park, we stopped over for a few nights for a break from camping in the cold. Margaret was so lovely, super helpful and made us feel right at home! The laundry facilities are fantastic and reasonably priced. The cabin we stayed at was cozy, heated blankets clean facilities and the local residents were super friendly. Highly recommended
Kids had a great time, almost everything was perfect. Except the shower, very little pressure and the hot water came and went constantly during the shower. But this was a minor issue for the cabins. Was a good trip all in all!
Beautiful stay. Comfortable cabins, clean Perfect for the kids. Close to restaurants, cafes and food. We had everything we need for this stay in Shepparton. Highly recommended.
Tad tight with a bigger van (22') with no drive through sites, but place is quiet, clean and everyone was very friendly. Will be going back for sure.
Stayed for two nights, it was a lovely place and very child friendly. Only problem was our cabin was very tiny and had nowhere to sit outside. All other cabins looked really nice with there own balconies.
My children and I used this park as a stopover as we were transiting through Victoria. We were camping in tents and were allocated an ensuite block centrally in the park. The good parts were that the facilities were in good condition and the staff were very friendly. The kids liked the pool (spa was not operating) and the jumping pillow.
Things that were not so great. Let's start with the location. It's in an industrial area, opposite an aerodrome so there were aircraft coming and going all night - this was very loud and disruptive. There was also a lot of car noise (burnouts, racing etc).
We also had a horrid group of people staying in the park while we were there which soured the experience even further. The drunken behaviour was disruptive and unacceptable. It was so bad that I could barely sleep for fear of my children's safety. We did not feel safe to stay beyond the first night, so we left and sacrificed the cost of the second night.
It's important to remember that we were in tents in the middle of the park. Reading other reviews it may not be so bad if you had better people staying in the park and a cabin that wasn't centrally located (to get more noise protection).
I will never stay here again.
The big 4 itself was nice clean and neat the cabin displayed in the pictures when we booked was nothing like the cabin we where given we where very disappointed and the complimentary little milks they gave U for coffee were over a month out of date which was a big let down
Good park! Great staff! Very tight roads for reversing van in, and a very grumpy old resident
(Which was Hilarious considering where he chose to live.)
An overnight stay whilst travelling with 2 dogs en route from Adelaide to Newcastle was made so much easier by staying in a dog friendly cabin. We had arranged for an after hours check in and it was so nice to walk into a nice warm cabin - the staff had very thoughtfully turned the heating on for us.
The queen size bed was very comfortable and the kitchen facilities were good - it was nice to see a full size stove which we would have put to good use had we been staying longer. The shower was nice and hot and there were decent wine glasses in the cupboards - win win:) There was even a small complimentary pack of tim tams in the fridge, along with 2 bottles of water. We'll definitely be back next time we're passing through Shepparton.
Love this place the beds are the best we have ever slept in. Very clean cabins and a lovely quite place to stay. We will return
Unit was clean and comfy, although extremely cold. Had AC set at 30deg and still didn't warm up. Also, light over kitchen and main bathroom light turned off and on randomly. Fix these things and would get 5 star
Had a really nice weekend away with our caravan, unfortunately left disappointed with the park/experience due to the cons listed.
Pros - Clean amenities, good facilities for kids (Including hire pedal karts), baby bath in laundry very handy.
Cons - Pool not heated (or just freezing), powered grass site had NO grass (pure dirt & twigs, even pile of unsafe metal scraps), roads have too many holes/uneven for kids to scooter.
Nice accommodation and really friendly service. Good facilities, though the spa wasn't during our stay for some reason. Rates are charged per the number of guests in the cabin, not per the cabin, itself. Weird. Great for families.
