5Worst thing to due during covid is keypads on toilets and boomgates.especially when clients are from all over aus and no checks made Wether they have been in a hot spot.big 4 at Bargara where we are presently is sadly gone downhill since we were here a few years ago.nowhere for water runoff without impacting neighbours and our site has a badly broken slab that is an accident waiting to happen.so disappointing considering high fees.
Mainly because a child almost drowned in the indoor pool at Anglesea, witch was very crowded with no life saver.
Big 4 howard springs is a complete rip off. Took up a stay 5 pay 4 deal, tokk up same offer again. Then wanted a further 3 days and charged full rate! No member discount. Is that not what is advertised and we pay membership for? Response from these people in head office is " we will take it up with the park owners on our next visit ". DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM A MEMBER OF BIG 4 FOR 12 YRS. Never again will I stay at any big 4 park nor will I be renewing membership. Way better parks around these days that cost alot less and value their guests. AVOID BIG 4 AND SAVE HEAPS OF MONEY!
Warning be very carefull of visiting cooper pedy big4 caravan park. Lock every thing up. Lots of stealing going on. Went to bed, locked door, other halve went to shower at around 5 in the morning;leaving me asleep forgot to lock me in. While i was asleep some one came in and stole wallet and handbag. Very upsetting. No gates No cameras no securety, lost money and personel items.police tell me this is happaning a lot. Hope this will save some one else from having their holiday cut short. The new Big 4 holiday park at Emu Point Holiday Park in WA have got off to a bad start by NOT informing their clients that they were going from a Top Tourist park to Big 4 park, and as such a lot of clients have paid too much for their accommodation. I was booked in to the park from 25Nov14 to 3Dec14, and the management did NOT inform me of the change (as a Big 4 member) would happen on 1st December 2014. This I consider as poor business, and against what should be the policy of a Big4 park, i.e. Open and honest dealings with their clients -they have denigrated the good name of Big 4 in my opinion.
