Big4 Bendigo Ascot Holiday Park

Only stayed one night. Facilities were very clean and well looked after. Staff friendly and helpful.

Can not recommend highly enough. Cracking setup through out the park. Kids had a blast.
New cabins were beautiful, only suggestion for them would be to put some better exhaust fans in the bathrooms to prevent mould. The ones built into the heat lights are rubbish, speaking from experience!

This Park is one of the best Big4's I have stayed at. Spotlessly clean, great facilities, cabins are roomy and comfortable beds. Staff are always friendly and approachable. We come here every year and wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Great CVP. Many upgrades have been done since we started staying here. Highly recommend staying here.

Great place for young families! Clean rooms, well maintained showers, common areas and great for place for caravans and camps. They have great glamping tents with cubby house bedding for kids! Great outdoors and play areas for kids. Common areas have table tennis table, billiards and xbox. Jacuzzi and swimming pool are nice too! We absolutely loved our stay here! Staff are very friendly and accomodating!

We have stayed at Ascot Big 4 previously in 2022 and 2023 to attend the Red Hot Summer concert and we've enjoyed the place overall.

Earlier this year last February 2023 we paid $150 for a 2 night stay on a powered site in our caravan to attend the concert.

A new concert has been announced for next year (February 2024) so I made a forward booking. I was shocked to see that the owners have increased the price for a 2 night stay to $398 - a massive 260% increase on 2023 pricing.

I called the receptionist to see if there was a mistake however she confirmed that the owners were happy to GOUGE tourists because of the proximity to the concert!

As a comparison, a booking one week before the concert for a 2 night stay in February 2024 is only $98.00 but for the concert weekend, Ascot Big 4 Caravan Park has added an additional $300.

I understand businesses jack up prices for peak events but to increase it by a whopping 400% from one week to the next is extremely greedy and bad business. Very disappointed that us and 4 other caravanning families will take our booking elsewhere.

Couldn't be happier with this holiday park. We only had a short stay but the kids could have happily been entertained there for a week

This is a great find. It’s a suburban caravan park that packs SO much into a smaller footprint, with excellent facilities and a top rated staff. Our powered site was beautiful: a gravelled space for the caravan, a cement slab for the awning, a lawned patch to sit and enjoy the vibe, and discrete landscaping to seperate your patch from the neighbours. The amenities block has been recently renovated, and is absolutely SPOTLESS (as is the whole park!)
No dirt or mud here… and for the kids… lots of play bits, too. And even a mini gym for us older ones who want to pretend they are fit. Plus an excellent camp kitchen and activities room. Amazing.
We had a bad health scare resulting in both of us having to visit hospital. We contacted the park after hours from hospital because we didn’t know if we could physically leave the next day (the park was FULLY booked due to a festival) but they assured us that would work something out. Luckily we were discharged on the morning of our departure and they allowed us extra time to pack up and leave. An outstanding effort and much appreciated.

Family glamping tent was fantastic. My children loved their bedroom 'nook' and rated the children activities/facilities at the park 20 out of 10! Staff were friendly & efficient. Our tent was clean & had everything we needed. Just remember though that it's still a tent, so whilst it is spacious enough to feel like a cabin, there are no real walls between you and the neighbours! We would absolutely stay here again & would recommend to families

Great caravan park sites clean excellently maintained. Staff friendly and helpful park facilities excellent plenty for the kids to enjoy caravan ensuite sites spacious and clean would highly recommend staying here and they keep you well informed of any things going on thank you big4 tasman Bendigo

Best park I’ve been to - and I’ve seen a few over the years. We’re grey-nomading and this is the best I’ve stayed at. Plenty for the kids to do, love grassy blocks, fab toilet and shower block. Only thing I could suggest is a larger pool when they get the chance - with non-slip tiles.

I stay in here 2 day 4 people i m not happy with the reception worker becsuse in my cabin have no tissues box i come and ask they said they no give the tissues box.and no buscuit and no milk and i said i need milk to drink coffe.and they said i go to shop and buy.and they give me only 1 box milk 150ml.my family paid very expensive for two day in weekend.and i m not happy with the service

Inconvenienced because we couldn't bring 2 vehicles in even though we had heaps of room, so had to park work car in Street

Took our 13 yr old grandson for 3 nights, stayed in a standard cabin which was very clean and comfortable. Beds are great. Some parts looking tired (floor coverings) but still very clean. The park is very well-geared for children (the kiddies area with a little traffic route is fabulous!) and also teens and adults - something for everyone. The weekend was stress-free, comfortable and we will return, probably with our van next time.

We just spent four nights here. Stayed in a two bedroom cabin with our 2.5 yr old. We had a fantastic time. A great park with great facilities and very friendly staff. We can't speak highly enough of our experience and will definitely be back next year.

Awesome holiday park. Beautiful green grass, big sites, stuff for the kids to do, and the shower block was always spotless. Credit to everyone there.
