BIG4 Beacon Resort Queenscliff

It was our first time staying at Ingenia Queenscliff and overall we enjoyed our time here.
We usually stay at a different local family holiday park but tried 2 nights here from a sale offer they had.
Would return on sale/discounted rates.
Definitely recommend for young families!

Highlights:
- Fully equipped fitness studio and yoga/pilates studio on-site, free for guests to book a session. Main perk for me!
- Large jumping pillow
- Indoor pool
- Indoor & outdoor playground for younger kids
- On-site kiosk for ice-creams and snacks
- Modern & clean cabins with tv in every room & comfortable outdoor deck + bbq

Lowlights:
- Indoor pool area was fairly small especially if it were peak season (an added outdoor pool & larger group seating area would be ideal).
- Limited outdoor play equipment or activities for children older than 5yo.
- The grounds/holiday park was fairly small compared to others.

A great holiday park with plenty to do for children. We stayed in a cabin for 2 nights and found it comfortable.
My only criticism would be the children’s play room for under 6 year olds. There were too many older children that were unmonitored that made it unsafe for young children. There needs to be staff checking in on it occasionally. It could also use a bigger window to air it out as the room smelt horrible Other than that it was a great holiday park with friendly staff and we will definitely be back.

I went with my wife, son and another family friend.

Positives:
- Daily activities for kids (make sure you book the day before)
- It's clean
- Staff are polite
- Gym is good
- Public BBQs are very clean

Negative:
- Price of accommodation for what you get wasn't the best
- DVD player wasn't working

Suggestions:
- Offer a lunch/dinner option whether it be bbq, roast etc that people can pay for (even if it's only during school holidays)

Overall good experience and I would come back again.

Very good experience. The holiday park itself is good enough for kids to play for a whole day.

Great park, staff super friendly and accommodating, sites were all level and lovely, upgraded us to a slab site.

We stayed on a powered site.
Park and amenities are clean and tidy
Only suggestion would be shower curtains as the water just goes everywhere

We never had stayed at Queenscliff. The beach was lovely at low tide, the shops are close by and we couldn't fault the accomodation!

We had a wonderful time staying at this holiday park. The staff were always super helpful to make everything as easy as possible and super friendly. Big credit to the groundsmen and cleaners as best kept and cleanest park we have both ever stayed at.

A fantastic family experience. Spent two weeks and it honestly felt like a home away from home. The location is brilliant and the facilities are top notch, but over and above all of that was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Not one time did we feel anything other than valued and the positive energy was infectious.

Have already booked to come again next year.

If anything, the only improvement that could be made would be with the showers, but overall the quality of this park is top tier.

Some great facilities, very well maintained and helpful staff, but double the normally high price because of Christmas was excessive price gouging.

This was our first time staying at a Big 4 and it was a great experience, the kids absolutely loved it. Well definitely be staying again.

Great Holiday Park, not too small and too big. Cabins are clean and fairly well equipped. Good facilities for kids.

Most incredible caravan park to stay at. So much for the kids to do, pool, jumping pillow, games room the list goes on. The staff are so helpful, and generous with their time, even in the mix of the busiest season. Facilities are clean and modern. A must stay for anyone. Will highly recommend.

We stayed in a two bedroom Banksia cabin for the night before catching the ferry across to Sorrento the next day.
The second bedroom easily fit our portacot, and the room was nice and dark for our little one to sleep. It had all the amenities and space we needed for a toddler! Nice and clean, easy check in!

Very expensive caravan park in VIC! Very disappointed with 6 night min for a camp site no one does this expect this park! Look great for kids but for the price won’t return! Not the best showers, small caravan park with no room for error! I wouldn’t come here in summer no trees.

Asome facilities and great staff very friendly however the beds are horrible feels like sleeping on cardboard also the blankets and pilows are a very poor quality not comfy at all I wish a brought my own matress and pillow and blanket. The electric BBQ that was provided didn't work it caused a power outage once turned on so called reception and had it swapped over & same thing happened so didnt bother to call the office again. Also the cooking pan was made from stainless steel so anything you cook on it sticks to the pan and burns the food I had to drive to kmart to buy a new fry pan because the one that was provided is not usable and shouldn't be providing to customers. The over all facilities are awesome very family friendly but I won't be booking another stay here ever again due to the lack of sleep and discomfort i have experienced while sleeping due to poor quality sleeping requirements. Also the washing machine and dryer work with 1 dollar coins only (who carries change like that? If we need to pay $5 to wash and $5 to dry then use that money your making to upgrade sleeping facilities and cooking apliances to give people a better experience here.

Definitely a great place for the family. Plenty of kids activities to keep them entertained all day. Cabins are great along with all of the park facilities and the staff are really friendly and helpful.

Staff were amazing. They were always friendly, and the park was very clean and the apartment was top quality. Beds were extremely comfortable. Apartment was the biggest id seen in any of the other parks. Will definitely stay again. Thank you for your amazing service!

The hotel here is everything you look for, professional, clean, well equipped, great location, great access to all around, friendly staff who always go out of your way to cater to your needs! So recommend if you are in the area to stay!

Queenscliff Big 4 Ingenia really is a wonderful park - a step above other parks for sure. The cabins are hotel quality, the amenities are amazing and suit kids of all ages, and the staff make your stay easy and enjoyable. We always love coming back here.
