BIG4 Anglesea Holiday Park reviews
70 All I can say is WOW
If you are looking for a family friendly place to stay in Anglesea don’t go anywhere else. Fish place is super clean and looks great the people who run it are super friendly there is so much for kids to do there playgrounds indoor swimming pool and activities room. This is the best caravan park I have been to so do yourself a favour and stay here for a few night and enjoy the area.
A great base for MTB, gravel rides, beach activities and running. Town is a 10 min walk and plenty for kids to do. Gets busy in peak season
We stayed in the safari tent, the mattress was firm (but we like it that way). Excellent facilities and tent condition (114).
Great location, awesome play area and pool for the kids and family, bbq area always clean and great deals year round
Holiday park for the kids. They will love the pool, adventure playground and games room.
Thank you for a fantastic weekend.
What a fantastic BIG4 holiday park. We stayed in the 3 bedroom cabin and it was perfectly clean and well set-up. The facilities and grounds are well maintained and all staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly. We've thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Stayed in one of the African themed tents.
2 Adults and 4 kids.
Great fun and well equipped, as long as you dont mind not having a TV or enough coffee!
There wasnt adequate bedding for the number booked so like camping, kinda had to inprovise.
Great bbq out under the verandah to use and outdoor bath definitely would be ised in the hotter months!
Great facilities, playground, pool and activities room for all ages of kids.
Our tent backed onto the main road so was very loud at night until the cars stopped.
We stayed for 7 days as my daughter was having intensive therapy.
I can't fault anything this park had everything we needed. The cabin was spacious and well equipped, warm and welcoming. We even went swimming in their heated pool It was winter and chilly. The staff were very helpful. The park is great for kids to plenty to do and large zoo animals at each tent.
Cant wait to go back!
We were 2 families who stayed in the safari tents side by side. The tents were generously sized, clean and well maintained. The pool, playground and indoor play area were a hit with out kids - we did not really need to leave the park. The main common kitchen was always well cleaned (except when the cockatoos got in there - they were friendly) however, when mentioned to staff it was cleaned straight away. We found the staff very accommodating and friendly. All in all we loved our stay and would HIGHLY recommend! Thanks for a great family get away guys!
We paid $55 for 1 nights caravan site in off-season. Beautiful facilities. Walk to the beach & cafes.
Stayed in one of the cabins for a few nights recently, and was very impressed with the cabin and park itself. With many different activities and such within the park. To the very helpful guide given to us to help make the most of Anglesea. Would definitely come back, and with the park having lots of different cabin themes, it will feel like a new experience over and over.
This is a fantastic family-friendly stay. There was so much to do here that we barely left the park.
Super friendly staff. Very accommodating. It was extremely clean and has a good range of stays from camping to safari tents and cabins. We will definitely be coming back here in the future.
The best caravan park we have ever stayed at, very family friendly. The facilities were amazing, clean, plenty of bathrooms and never a queue for anything. An amazing big indoor heated pool kept the kids entertained as well as 2 playgrounds and even a toddler room. I’d love to stay in the safari tents one day, they look amazing. The staff were incredible, always helpful and happy. We are already looking forward to coming back soon.
What a great place such a luxe feel not to far from the beach and close to town the facilities were great and cleaned regularly. We camped on a powered site and it was excellent right near the play ground and swimming pool which was indoor and heated terrific can’t wait to come back and explore and unwind future at this great park.
We visited the place with a toddler and it is really perfect. You have two playground one with a sun cover the other with water playground. The indoor Swimmingpool was really nice. You have a play room with table tennis and kicker, etc.additionally you have a toddler playroom. Perfect for bad weather. A lot a toys. Our little one was every afternoon so tired and we had easy nights.
We visited this Big4 resort twice in this year. We just loved our stay both times. Beautifully maintained cabins, Safari tents, garden, indoor swimming pool, playground, games room and giant chess. My 7 years boy loves playing with giant chess and fooseball. It is close to town centre, cafes, restaurants, shops, AngleSea river and beach.
Staff are very friendly and helpful, enjoyed those little conversations and got couple of gardening tips. Little secret to share is you will get a $20 soft drinks & coffee voucher when you book your stay online! Highly recommended for families with kids to enjoy the stay.
We had a lovely time here. The kids love it, playing scooter, swimming in the pool, big set of chess and many more.
Cabin was spotless clean and the house keepers need a big pat on the back! And a full size fridge was a bonus, the BBQ area was clean and was able to use. (Another BBQ in the middle area would be handy for the back cabins to use closer) play ground was a massive hit for us.
The pool was way too cold to swim in (although we went at the start of sept, we shivered as did others we spoke too there) and wasn't child friendly for our 5yo. The toddler pool was great for smaller children and the other pool great for bigger children/adults confident swimming independently in deep water however wasn't a start shallow and work your way up to deep for the middle aged kids. My 5yo wasn't interested (too big) in the baby pool and unfortunately couldn't play in the other pool because of the instant depth once off the step.
The local wildlife that sat on the balcony every late afternoon was just wonderful.
Best Big 4 we've been to yet. Great facilities for the kids, perfect indoor heated pool and very neat and we'll maintained gardens and camp sites with astroturf. Best part too are the early morning kanagroos that come for a visit which the kids loved. We stayed in the lux Safari tent which was superb
The park is amazing! From the awesome reception building, most wonderful staff. The park is clean and simply perfect! A must for your accommodation stop along the Great Ocean Road.
