BIG W Ballarat

Store layout has changed. Not sure I'm overly fussed about it.
Still plenty of choices, but harder to find some stuff now.

Has changed a little bit, Otherwise all good. Readable signage makes it easy to find what your looking for.

One of the blokes at the tech desk has bloody appalling customer service skills, even by low end retail standards. As I went to pay for my items, he was on his phone the whole time. Didn’t even bother to acknowledge me. A simple hello would have been nice. Not sure if he was a manager or a worker. But it’s not on.

Worst general shop in Ballarat.

My kids some times go here by them selves but when they do workers follow them all through the store even when they go there, spend 50 bucks on new clothes they will still follow them around as if they are going to steal.

I've also seen one of their 'guards' punch a teenage boy outside of the store because he caught them stealing a puffer vest.
I wish I could give 0 or half a star but I can only give a 1 star.

Clean interior and nice staff, although the exterior is filthy and people drive recklessly in the parking lot.

Horrible experience. Door “greeter” does not greet. Just stands and judges and stares, makes you feel very self conscious. Not one person on registers so no choice but to do it myself!

It's OK stores, variety item.
But when go online, they show, they have in stock, but when you get there. They don't have it, at store.

Pricing was not displayed on sheets I purchased. Got served by a checkout lady on way out and she was not helpful or was the supervisor on checkouts. Had to go to the service desk at the back of the shop. Little bit of a wait. Served by another lady she was helpful and sorted things out.

Its a bigw, its the one i usualy go to but they had moved everything around. Im sure its a marketing ploy to get you to spend more time there, but its very frustrating not being to go to you favorite isle and pick up what you want.

Great store, fast and safe Covid-19 entry. Plenty of space and huge variety. Staff are friendly and helpful.

They have this security guy there that has a way of making you feel uncomfortable. It might have been because the person I was with was shoplifting (I didn't know) but not the best layout, uninterested employees. Not much help at all.

Absolutely shocking car park. Great location. Amenities definitely in need of an upgrade in the complex. Hats off to the staff for dealing with the local "delinquents" on a daily basis

Shopping is online at the moment.easy to order online. You receive a text message when your order is ready to pick up.great service here and staff are always kind and friendly.when the shop is open Ballarat BigW has a really good garden centre.plants are cheaper here and quality nursery stock. I've bought roses with beautiful strong scents.pencil pines at bargain prices around $11. Their $3 pots are unusual varieties and vary from season to season. Dry doggy food is cheaper than supermarkets.very competitive in price

The staff are always polite and friendly but run off there feet poor things, so too the customers just be patient and polite

Awesome range of clothes easy to find customer service was exemplary. Reasonably priced. Way better store than in Adelaide

Big W, Ballarat, fulfilled all my wants and needs yesterday. I wanted a new keyboard and mouse, and they had exactly what I had wanted.
There was a bit of a queue at the registers, but one employee saw this and opened another, with me as first through. Fantastic, and very cheerful, process.

Popped into Big W this morning and found exactly what I needed and was then helped by the register assistant. Her attitude was excellent, sincere and willing. Thanks

We come a long way, from the mallee to see relatives, pretty average store, garden section a disgrace. Pity
