BIG W Altona Meadows

Friendly staff, good range.has the usual range of goods for whatever the upcoming holidays/events. Store stock levels are good.

So I don’t normally leave reviews but the customer service I endured today by the lovely Debbie Pool at Altona meadows Big W was extremely helpful and delightful to deal with. I could not help but lave feedback. Big W should be proud to have you GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I want a human being to check me out, especially with complex needs at check out. Their human “was on break” with only self-check out available and multiple problems and errors w this option as usual. If the human goes on break, you shouldn’t be so greedy as to not have a policy to have another human step in. I hate self-checkout. There have to be options. I will try to avoid shopping here unless you change your human being checkout to make sure the options are available.

Disliked product availability. Products as seen available on internet weren't in store.time wasting

Love shopping here bigw and coles right next to each other and other speciality shops as well chemists nick nack shops fresh fruit and veggies butcher hot food

Yes it's nice, clean tidy and a quiet store. Only bad thing about it sometimes the product r cheaper on coles next door than in this store.

They kicked me out because l sat down in the gaming area when I had an upset stomach and this Indian man who was working was following my friends and I as we were leaving the store saying that he loves us which made me feel uncomfortable if l could give this a zero star l would. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had.

I went into Big W altona meadows a few days ago and was desperately after an item. The lady who served me was nothing but amazing. She called up another store and made sure that the item I was looking for was there. She went above and beyond to help me and her name was Debbie P. It is hard to find such good service like this anymore, but she needs to be commended on her customer service skills and the way she helped me locate my order. I will return to this store in future. Good selection of items on offer. Set out logically. Plenty of basic casual leisurewear, underwear and footwear for the whole family. Basic electrical and homewares. Very helpful staff. Some books, beauty items and pet products. Quiet on a Saturday afternoon.

So the app for delivery and after pay didn't work!
Had to drive there from point cook no problem then got charged for $15
Layby fee! Target is $3?

This big W is known to be a quiet store, since its more crowded stores are attracted by customers in other locations, such as Werribee. That being so, having little to no customers is a plus! There's always something here in stock. Staff members are so lovely, especially the ones who work at the self-serve checkouts.

It's a very quiet store when I can't be bothered with the noise and business of our
Werribee store I come here the travel distance is about the same, it just depends on whether I want other stores or just Big W.

Nice big departmental store. Has everything you need at a convenient location. The party goods section is quite extensive. Like all places it's mostly self checkouts.
Friendly people at the service desk.
I recommend parking at the South West of Central Square via Petre av for easy access to Big W

Good store, staff are friendly & polite.
Now & then you can find some good bargains. Only downfall is no photo editors.

This is a well stocked Big W, the toy section is always a little in disarray but I order on line and click and collect here often. Good range and still carry brands like Bonds etc that other places dont anymore.

Very helpful staff. I purchased a very heavy item and the staff members helped me bring it and load it into my car. Very appreciative thank you

Love BigW and the home section keeps getting better. Getting in line with American Target for homes.

Rang the shop regarding a mobile phone as the ladies could she pls hold it as l will be there in 30 mins to pick, it up was told no way would not help in anyway wanted to put on a credit card no way rudest shop ever totally unprofessional and rudeness

Neither had any issues/concerns nor did I come across any extraordinary experience or feature in this store of BigW, hence this rating.
