Big Tea reviews
14 Very tasty Malasian desserts (and almost all are Gluten Free!).
Pity that when I came on the weekend, the seller was a bit antipathetic. Also, as this cuisine is not that common in Melbourne (yet), it would add a lot to put on the walls some posters that describe the history/origins of the dishes.
Curry puffs are out of this world. Hefty, a lot of filling, super tasty and a pastry that’s light and fluffy but not overly oily!
Chicken and egg curry puff is literally the best! 5/5
5 out 8 of the kuih are amazing.the rest are not as good.but would definitely be back to try some other stuff.
This has the best authentic Malaysian nyonya kuih in Melbourne thanks to Baba's Wife. The curry puffs are also really nice. The bubble tea and fruit teas are decent too. The shop is clean and decorated very nicely. Would highly recommend!
Had houjicha latte with bobba before, i would say its one of the best houjicha in Melbourne! Really love the curry puffs too!
Very good tea, polite service, comfortable and a great place to relax. A really good place overall
Best and freshest bubble tea place I have been to. If you want something new and different this is the place to be
This place is comfortable and relaxing for dessert and tea. Tried a few of the Baba's wife Malay dessert and they are good. The hot jasmine tea with jelly is soothing with full flavor. Will drop by next time to try the signature curry puff.
I popped into this little tea shop because it's the closest to home, and OMG. The CURRY PUFFS. Do not leave without at least one. They are delicious. So flaky and perfectly balanced with sweet and spicy. The tea was also lovely!
We had the purple rice yoghurt, pearl milk tea and curry puffs from Big Tea. The drinks were so delicious not too sweet, nice tea and pearls were perfectly cooked. The curry puffs were so tasty, full of filling and flavour, so yummy! Will come back for sure!
Loved the curry puff. Weekend kuih also excellent. I don’t even drink tea and I love this place!
OMG, these guys are so generous with their toppings, its unbelievable. Had the Hojicha and you can tell the quality of ingredient used is top quality. The Milk Tea is also one of the best I had in Melbourne. Also, the handmade Curry Puff with proper egg inside (these is no holding back on this too) is always sold out.
Decided to visit “Big Tea” today for the first time. I ordered the curry puff and bubble tea. The curry puff was the most delicious that I’ve ever experienced in Melbourne. The size of the curry puff and the taste is unbelievable, u will definitely be coming back for more. The bubble tea also was amazing so fresh and delicious. I highly recommend that you try “Big Tea” and I’m certain you will be just as impressed as I was. I will now become a regular
Tried the Hochija milk tea, matcha tornado, passionfruit tea and grapefruit tea. They tasted so fresh.
Boba was soft and bouncy. Didnt feel heavy to eat.
Loved the snacks. Wonder if they will do winter special flavors.
Will definately go back:)
