Big Pig Canteen

Went with a group of guys and ordered the big share platters. More than enough to go around.
Only criticism are the pieces of white bread served with the meat. There's no need for it and it's simply a waste of food.
Reasonably priced dishes.

I had a beef brisket lunch roll. It’s fantastic and the best as per one of their staff. Super friendly staff; great atmosphere. Family and kids friendly as have seen many different age groups here. Highly recommend.

This place looks very cool, but I think the food as very average, I wanted to like it more, the beef brisket was dry, the wings were way to oily, jerked chicken was ok, Mac and cheese was average, the bean salad was yuk, The kransky sausage was tasty and the kids pasta was nice, the drinks are quite cheap for what you get

Cracking little BBQ place located in the working area of Cheltenham / Morrabbinn.

If you like American type BBQ food give this place a crack.

Great concept and good atmosphere but the food was lacking seasoning and taste. This is billed as an American BBQ and is nothing of the sort. Was hoping for big flavours, bark on the meat and great service. Sorry Big but the experience was forgettable.

Buzzing great venue eatery. Very friendly customer service, and delicious food! Make sure you book because this place gets busy! Meat was extremely soft and melted in your mouth. Popcorn chicken was super tasty also.

Came here with a group of friends on a Friday night and it was the perfect spot! We shared some platters of meat which were amazing, melt in the mouth texture and great flavour. This is a great place for a casual group catchup with not only great food but a good range of drinks to go with it.only wish it stayed open a bit later.

We had an all you can eat for my partner's father's 50th Bday and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly and helping, there was plenty of choice with alcohol and the atmosphere was absolutely fantastic

Super delicious food, amazing price. Our meal was $100 for 6 people (excl drinks), everyone was stuffed full and every dish was delish!

Pork was amazing. Brisket was a tad dry. Everything else was good though. Nice environment. Australians need to make in house BBQ sauces instead of relying on Sweet Baby Rays though. You won't find that in an southern American BBQ joint. Up your sauce game guys!

Great ambience. Great food. Portion sizes are good and you will not go hungry. The setting is in a disused warehouse converted in an industrial part of Moorabbin to a cool and relaxed eatery.
The food is good, the beer and alcohol selection wide and the staff are friendly and prompt with their service. The only thing I would improve is the price of the salad. At $16 for an entree size this is steep. Everything else is terrific value.

Food was average. Mac and cheese was under cooked, watery and didn't have much of a taste. Coleslaw was really nice and would definitely recommend everyone give it a try. Pickles were a huge disappointment, they obviously had not been pickled for long enough as the flavour was lacking.

Service and cocktails were fantastic.

Fantastic brisket, chicken wings unbelievably good, pulled pork, pork belly and ribs it's all good. Just don't over order as it's very filling and better to order as you need it. Great place for families and groups.

Can't fault it. Buzzing atmosphere and the food was full of flavour. Only suggestion would be to move the couple of the tables which are closest to the bar, people lining up surrounding your table is a little intrusive. All-in-all really enjoyable.

Good food. At good prices. The beer isn’t so nice. And the people honestly are a bit weird. The customers also were a weird crowd. But it’s definitely worth a visit. Come Wednesday nights for wing night. Wow. You won’t be upset. Also there are games you can use and play with. Very family friendly.

This place is the bomb. Love everything about it! Great atmosphere and the food, comes out quickly so you can just keep ordering until your about to expload. Can't wait to go back.

Our first visit and our experience was very good. I found the fried chicken burger with mild buffalo sauce was spicy enough for me but of course there is plenty of cold beer on tap and much more on the menu to explore. We will definitely be back for another visit.

We love this place! Southern American style food like cornbread, Mac and cheese, slaw and slow cooked meats. Buy by the 100/150g and match it with a great real ale or lager. Service is good and the food comes out quick. Really enjoyed it.
