Big D Ski Centre

First time for the family at Hotham together and the kids loved it. The instructors are fantastic.

Perfect area for teaching littlies to ski, my 5 year picked up in one day, the gentle slopes encourage confidence. And the steeper bits bring that confidence right back down haha

Not the best for beginners imo - unless you prebook lessons. The beginners area for kids could not be used because they were in use.

What a beautiful weekend away at Mt Hotham as it's been years since I've been to the snow ️. So l recommend if you like snow skiing ️ ️ give Mt Hotham ago where you can enjoy your day having fun in the snow ️ or by a fire at night

Nice ski school and instructors! The carpet up the hill is so cool, and it is easier for beginners to learn how to do turns. We try the private lessons, our instructors Kris and Ben are amazing, very patient to little ones, and our kids are really enjoying the ski.

Love the big D nice and easy to get into the groove. Lifties are always great and help the ski school kiddies.

Great spot to get a hang of skiing. Shoulder season was a great time to visit as there was minimal wait for chairlift and didn't have to stress about hitting other skiers while still learning. Snow was good too!

Fantastic place for kids to learn skiing and boarding. Nice gentle slope but still has a few options on different ways to make it down the hill. Also because it's separate from the main mountain, you don't tend to get the speedsters flying past.

Ski staff are mostly amazing and really love their job. In particular Evil Dr Phil, Higgo and Glenski. They are fantastic and super fun instructors. Our girls have had a couple of unfriendly instructors but that comes with so many different personalities.

Great for kids interested in skiing or boarding. Even for the 3-5 yr olds. Has a convenient viewing area for parents as well.

Nice place, got cafe as well with big glass window can take picture when kids skying down from slope.

The staff behind the counter do not know what tickets are for sale or how to sell them. Hotham offers a parent pass ticket and the team behind the counter do not know how to sell it. Then they proceed to over charge me and don’t know how to process a refund. I’ve been standing at the ticket desk for 25 minutes now. An absolute joke.
