Programs set up to help you succeed, tailored to your abilities, and pushing you harder when you need it. I love the format of group classes - all the thinking has already been done, just need to show up and put in the work. It ticks all the boxes for me, and has been one of the few exercise regimes I’ve signed up to that keep me (consistently!) going for nearly a year. Honestly, the big thing for me is that it is not an intimidating experience for those starting on their fitness journey- The trainers are friendly and encouraging!
Can’t recommend highly enough. I was never a gym fan until I started going here. Now I’m 5 years in and loving life. Eternally grateful
My first gym experience could not have been better. The body scan helped identify my goals and the trainers have been so helpful. First couple of sessions were tough but with their help it's getting better every day. Thanks Johan, Andrea and Zac!
I joined Big5 last year and have loved it. Zac, Anh, Andrea & Johan are all really encouraging trainers, and the classes are both challenging and fun.

Just returned to Big 5 after a short break and was welcomed back warmly. 55yrs old next week and feeling really good.
Been a member for a month and I've enjoyed it far more than any other fitness program or gym I've tried over the years. Which means I'm more likely to keep at it! Never been a fan of group training but Big5 is just what I needed. No egos, friendly members and trainers just making sure you're doing the exercises properly and pushing yourself. I feel like I've benefited more in a month here than I did in three months going to the gym solo.
This circuit gym is fabulous! The staff are so knowledgeable and really attentive - their friendly vibe attracts a friendly membership too! I highly recommend it!
Couldnt recommend these guys more for group Gym training. I had the goal for putting on some muscle and after only 2 sessions I was able to put on 3kg of muscle and achieve my goal. They were able to guide me through the sessions and importantly with correct technique. Johan and the team certainly have a good thing going here!
Great Gym. Highly recommend. The gym is modern, fresh and clean. I always walk out satisfied with the workouts that the trainers plan and provide.
No matter what fitness level you’re at or how many kilos you put on during the lockdowns, this is definitely right place to be. Trainers are very supportive and encouraging, they take the time to guide you and help you set personal fitness goals and follow up to make sure you achieve them. Also, it’s a safe environment (LGBTQ friendly and inclusive).
BIG5 Fitness in Yarraville is a fantastic way to achieving your fitness goals. The classes push you to get better each day with amazing variety in exercises to keep each session fresh and challenging.
Big 5 offered a 5-week challenge that seemed to fit what I was looking for. The trainers have been just amazing from day 1. They provided me with great (personalised) nutrition and training advice, they would check in with me regularly to see how I was going, and provided lost of support and encouragment along the way. I've seen some great results in just 5 weeks and have loved it so much I've signed onto a continuing membership. I really can't recommend them strongly enough.
If you're looking to start your fitness journey in a safe and friendly environment. You've found it. The coaches are great and supportive. HIIT type workouts with weights and flexibility around injuries

I’ve never enjoyed working out like I do at Big 5. The group training environment is fantastic, Johan and team are extremely knowledgeable and supportive. I’ve had great results but also learned a lot about training and nutrition that have changed the way I think forever. I’m typically pretty lazy, but I look forward to my Big5 sessions. Can’t recommend highly enough.
Best environment to train. Great people and fantastic coaches. Very encouraging. Keep you motivated even when training becomes a challenge. Flexible training times with a great variety of classes. Tried both the team training and transformation classes and loved both. Highly recommend Big 5 to anyone who is looking for results and an encouraging and friendly environment in which to train.
