Beyond Newtown

I have seen my share of allied heath practitioners over the years for chronic pain and to improve my mobility. However since seeing the practitioners at Beyond Newtown I’ve found my home. Dan (Osteopath) has taken the time to get to know me and understand how to best manage my body’s needs. When I first started seeing Dan I had limited movement and significant pain. I had to use the lift to the clinic - Now I can usually use the stairs. Occasional use of the IR Sauna and remedial massage via Ruby’s artful fingers really loosens things up.
Things are progressing and I am now commencing Clinical Pilates with Gemma. The team and I have a plan and we work together to ensure I get the best outcomes based on my goals. I now see my future as an active one rather than painful and limited and I am truly grateful. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend any of the team at Beyond.

Ruby and Lucy are guns! Learnt so much about physio for my knees from Lucy and Ruby gives the most amazing remedial massages with immediate results. I felt the results the following day with increased movement, flexibility and range.

I have been seeing Gemma (physio) for a few months. She really takes the time to ask questions and try to see the full picture of why I have pain. She is enthusiastic and very motivating. Her hands on treatment always gives me relief and the excersize program at home is easy to follow through the app.

Having a specifically targeted Pilates program has allowed me to address my personal physical challenges. As a result of Gemma’s scientific and analytical approach to problem solving, I have experienced considerable improvement. Great to have another Beyond clinic opened up. Facilities are fantastic. I found the brand new gym room very beneficial to properly run through my rehab plan in depth. Dan and the team are a pleasure to visit.
