We hired a wet tile saw and couldn't have asked for better service! We hired one from one of the big hire companies the week before and lost so many tiles as it was in need of a service. So glad we found Better Rentals!

Great rates & customer service - the downside is their support for delivery drivers.ramps on trailers for scissor lift were too short & lift got high centred. Had to use jockey wheel to lift front of trailer up so the angle was enough to allow the lift to be loaded. Clearly not the fault of the driver - just working with what they were provided.

Hired a concrete floor saw. Included trailer with ramp so super easy to pick up. Saw was very reliable and easy to use and made the job a breeze. Will definitely be back for more gear in the future.

Edit went back for an Excavator. Weekend hire was a good price and got a brand new Yanmar 1.8T excavator. Was an absolute delight to use, far nicer than any of the Kubota units that I have used from other hire places. Will definitely be back!

Close to 4 tons of collected firewood done in 2 days.

Rented a jackhammer with tile lifter over the weekend for Better Rental in FTG. Process to order and pay online was easy, pickup and drop-off a breeze.

The Hilti jack hammer was top class and worked for 2 days straight removing external ceramic tiles on front veranda, and it didn't miss a beat.

Thanks again to the FTG team, couldn't be happier with rental.

Very fair pricing with excellent old school customer service - wish more businesses were like this. Peter couldn't be more helpful. This is how you get and keep customers for life.

They supplied me with a scissor lift, battery went flat before i could complete the job.
They supplied me with another scissor (as compensation FOC) for another job, delivery was 2 hours late, battery went flat after 3 hours and this job was also incomplete.

They told me (Garath) "they had more then compensated me and that when they checked the lift, it was not flat and worked fine"

Implied i was somehow responsible for the scissor not working correctly.

I have 2 jobs, both 90% complete and i will be out of pocket $500 min because of Better Rentals.

Really friendly helpful staff, and I like the fact that they dont hide costs (no cleaning fees etc)
Range of equipment isn't as good as some places but prices are way better.

Best rental outfit in the Eastern suburbs. Great pricing (beats Kennards & Coates on everything), helpful and professional staff. Convenient pickup yard. They get what you need, when you need it. They deliver, pick up, clean and refuel if required. Have used for close to 7 years with no issues.

Rented a Bobcat s70 smaller skid steer and I couldn't believe how much work I got done with the back yard landscaping. The weekend rental was great value and the people there were excellent. On Sunday afternoon one of the bucket controls stopped working so I thought it was damaged but called up Harrison on their emergency number and he told me to look under the pedal for a lump of dirt. That was the problem and I was abck and running 15 minutes later. Never used one before and it was easy to learn and that emergency service call is a great idea

Not the cheapest around but well maintained equipment and knowledgeable helpful and friendly staff. My go to for equipment.
