Best Western Plus The Tudor

Very nice rooms but the TV is a bit too small and the art work is really not good. They provide good samples and they have an okay bed if you're staying for one night but wouldn't want to live there forever. Great bathrooms and showers

The rooms need a serious deep clean and update. The staff in reception were lovely but it was also very grubby in there too. It’s such a beautiful complex, it’s a shame it’s not being maintained.

Remember that comparison is the thief of joy. The Tudor is not a Four Seasons but its a great little gem in the leafy Melbourne suburb of Box Hill.

The Tudor is my go-to establishment when I visit my family in Melbourne.

While the rooms are rudimentary the quaint ambience and delightful courtyard definitely make up for simple accommodation.

While located outside the Box Hill shopping district The Tudor is still within a brisk 30 minute walk from the town centre. The Tudor is also located on the Maroondah Highway which is a main East-West link in the Eastern Melbourne suburbs. You can get anywhere from here.

Lastly I would like to praise the fabulous staff. Connie was tremendous and extremely accommodating. She is ablely partnered which a equally welcoming team.

This was the third time I has stayed here and it (hopefully) won't be the last.

Room is clean and catered to all my needs, staffs are friendly, check in was quick and smooth

Hot water ran out a number of times at night. Room needed a lot of work. Cracks on the walls and patches. Also smelt a bit Smokey.

Be aware the hotel is quite aways from downtown. Check-in was smooth and quick. Were given directions to our apartment (#4) across the street. Underground parking is good. Internet not working and staff disinterested in fixing it. Their response was to use our phone data. Only 1 bar cell service in bottom apartment. With the pool across the street, we had little desire to use it. Only 2 two towels and 2 bathmats. The bed was a little worn and we both ended up in the center. Stove/oven very greasy. I would not recommend.

Piles of dust around the ‘laundry area’. One of the showers had virtually no water pressure. Not many home appliances such as a microwave.gym was very outdated. Hallways to the rooms were dirty.

Good value, but you get what you pay for. For multiple nights stay you only get the check in service, otherwise you have to go to reception to get new towels etc. Bed are medium but quite rocky. Queen room with spa bath has a loft bedroom. Good amount of parking. Residential area so cars, dogs barking etc. Did not use the pool or restaurant. Good value for money.

Room is unsafe with wires hanging out of the wall and smoke detector covered. Service poor. Noise management bad with guests. Gym, pool, restaurant closed. Would not recommend.

Great location, super friendly staff and apartment was immaculate. Free off street parking is a bonus. Was pleasantly surprised to be offered a free upgrade to an apartment on arrival.

Discussing filthy rooms.no restaurant open.cafe close at 3pm check in 2pm.nothing close by to buy food.pillows positively bloody stink throw them in the bin.totally discusted would not recommend.to noone ever.the bus stop outside was cleaner

I'm not happy with this place at all, the rooms are acceptable and I like they have a bathtub and not just a shower.
Service sucks, I booked a downstairs room and was given an upstairs room, I was told none available. That should have been told upfront, so I could have booked elsewhere. Especially considering no elevator is provided, how do you assume everyone I ok with all them stairs? My broken toe isn't happy!
If you want a clean room, get ready to clean it yourself, housekeeping is only provided once a week.
The parking situation it a nightmare as well, small spa es and mostly overcrowded we had to park a long way from the room and haul all that luggage upstairs. Lousy service

The apartments are lovely. However the pool, spa and gym were located across the road. The spa was nice but the pool isn’t heated at all. Way to cold to swim in. When I complained I was told it is heated to 19 degrees. Which isn’t warm enough to swim in. I was extremely disappointed because that was the reason we chose that hotel. And room service was advertised. However that also meant me driving over the road to pick it up. I wouldn’t recommend despite the appartments being lovely

Minimalist bar and restaurant which didn’t seem to be open when it was advertised to be

Excellent place, squeeky clean rooms and comfortable bed. We checked in late.so check in process and identifying our apartment was painful and took bit of time. Everything else was great. Would definitely recommend this place.

Really nice and specious rooms but there was a lot of moisture and mould visible. No room service. A lot of restaurants, shops and places to go for a walk (playgrounds as well) within walking distance.

The only downfall is the apartments are opposite the main motel and facilities. 4 lanes of busy traffic to cross.

Not a safe property to live in. Disgusting treatment by the staff and no remorse for its customers. The room does not look as advertised as well. Overall, an unpleasant place to stay in. Avoid.
