"Upgraded" to a room with queen and single bed (for which we had no use) rather than the booked queen and sofa (which we did have a use for). Ordered breakfast, had to write choices on a scape of paper. Breakfast could have handed over that night as have to use toaster in room. Told mandatory yoghurt not available (there are shops!) - no discount available. Arrived late, apple juice not requested. No butter, the request for which was met with blank stares. No coffee "but you did not write coffee" - because we were only asked to write optional selections and coffee is standard. Attempts to explain resulted in "you are so rude" and he wanted to continue the discussion at checkout. Rooms ok but could do with some cleaning. Plenty of towels, plenty of dinner options and air conditioner efficient and quiet.

Rated 3 star i wouldn't give it 1 disorganised breakfast times different than what is posted on the website cockroach infestation other issues i can't be bothered posting except to say that if we have brought cockroaches back with us i will be sending best Western the fumigation bill

I recently stayed at this Motel unfortunately, my experience was marred by the unprofessional behaviour and offensive attitude of the receptionist. I feel compelled to share my encounter to warn others about the unpleasant atmosphere at this establishment.

Upon arriving at the motel, I was greeted by a receptionist who demonstrated a complete lack of courtesy and respect. Not only was she consistently rude, but her behavior also crossed the line into racism. It is deeply disheartening to encounter such blatant discrimination in the 21st century.

To make matters worse, when I politely asked her about certain amenities and services provided by the motel, she responded with threats and demands. It is unacceptable for a representative of any business to engage in such hostile behavior towards paying customers.

What shocked me further was the receptionist's refusal to provide any information on how to address my concerns or lodge a complaint. This lack of transparency and accountability speaks volumes about the management's disregard for customer satisfaction.

On a slightly positive note, I must acknowledge that the motel itself was reasonably clean. Despite the rude receptionist, the housekeeping staff seemed to maintain a decent level of cleanliness in the rooms. However, this alone does not compensate for the overall negative experience I encountered.

I cannot in good conscience recommend this motel due to the unacceptable and offensive treatment I endured from the receptionist. While the cleanliness was passable, the hostile atmosphere created by their behavior overshadowed any positive aspects of my stay. I hope that management addresses these issues promptly to ensure that future guests are spared the distress and discomfort that I experienced.

First time I ve ever been locked out of a motel I rented and paid for, have no place to go cant get into my room. There is no way to contact reception no one is on site, keystopped working, no emergency contact nothing.

Nice and quiet, however if you have a car lock it, also some of the guests definitely didn't look like tourists.

It ws good room except staff service, NO smile and NO greetings. No complimentary drink water bottle nothing. Location and room were good.

I do reviews all the time not just the negatives
I learnt a lesson during my 20 years of hospitality, Theres a difference between working on your business and working at your business.
That concludes the kinda of service I received.
A very dry welcome and as if they are saying we dont care if you come back as long as you pay us now, kinda serious.
When walked in, first impression the floor was wet and had alot of long hairs curling up on the floor.
The spa which what we paid extra for, we didnt even use it
Thats how disgusting it was.
Sorry for using a harsh language here but im only describing my experience, nothing personal.
The water taps were leaking, i filled up the spa and turned on the pump and it pumped a load of dirt and long hairs into the water and it was a turn off
First day no one cleaned the room and there was no do not disturb signs so I assumed they clean up daily.
The second day they cleaned it alright and didnt not touch any money or jewelry so thats a bonus for them
No sign as in where to drop the keys off
So i went to receiption to ask, the man didnt even respond or look at me, the lady next to him then responded in a rude tone.
Overall i didnt enjoy my stay, its a waste of money and its so far away from the airport and the city but the price was similar to city hotels which are probably better.

Great sized rooms and very clean and fresh. Bed was a bit uncomfortable. I had a room closer to the main road so it was a bit noisy. Ask for rooms always from the road if you are a light sleeper. Check in and out was easy. Free wi-fi and lots of eateries and a car wash near by.

This place at first was nice enough for the price until the next day. No phone cool nothing but photos of a pile of dirty clothes in the corner of the bathroom, which they no permission from me, they did not call me to ask for the mission. They more or less come through took photos of things didn’t even clean the room. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had. They have completely violated trespassing laws as you must ask permission from the guest who are paying to stay in that room before you enter

This is by far the worst experience when I got back to the motel had three cleaners, and one this receptionist guy, swearing, and yelling

Friendliness of staff at checking in was amazing. Our room 28 was perfect. Very clean and comfortable. The beds were great, towels were soft. We couldn't of asked for a better place to stay. Close to a few eateries. Will definitely stay again. Thankyou

Service was good but our room was in need of a massive update and clean. The pillows were hard, mattress springs appeared to have given up, the floor was grimey, there were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, so many mozzies, and the bathroom appeared to have mould and lots of gaps in the silicon. I thought the large room we had would have some storage for clothes but there were no shelves or drawers, just hanging space with 3 coat hangers so our clothes stayed i.our suitcases, open on the floor and that was quite annoying. Would not stay here again.

On arrival, I was barely greeted by the female staff member. She seemed too “busy” to say anything other than “yes” when I opened the door. This staff member was extremely abrupt and rude. Told me check out was “strictly 10am”. I mentioned we would be checking out earlier than that and I was questioned as to how early? If my husband and I were staying more than a night I would have left straight after this interaction and paid more to stay somewhere else.
I had booked a very standard room, with a shower, however we were put into a spa room. This normally wouldn’t be an issue, but being 34 weeks pregnant, I could barely step over the high bath to have a shower! No handle bars for safety either with this. The top of the bath is higher than my knee when I stand beside it.
Room was relatively clean, however the bath tub that you stand in to shower was not. You could see dirty water leaking and rust around the taps and spa jets.
The bed. Oh gosh the bed. Honestly, I considered sleeping on the floor or the pull out couch. You could feel every spring in the bed. Unsure how other reviews have mentioned a comfortable bed? ! The pillows were extremely flat.
Room was fairly dated, however aircon worked well.
Room had complimentary bottle of wine, however the note that came with it said “enjoy your 2019”. It is 2022….
Carpark area was extremely dark and didn’t exactly feel safe particularly reading others reviews about other guests etc.
Never again will I stay here.

Disgusting service for my 91 year old parent.went to confirm booking but nothing! Didn't care.even after we paid a visit and spoke to person.still wasn't done.

Absolutely disappointing!
My family stayed here for a week. The first night they accidentally locked themselves out of their room, finding no night staff available on site or by the phone number. They were eventually escorted back to our place via the local police who said they were there last night for the same occurrence.
The staff offered a minimal apology and a bottle of wine which was declined.
We emailed head office to ask about the company policy requirements for the property to be staffed at night. They responded in good time and offered a free night of accommodation and said that someone should have been available on site during the night and they would follow it up.
On their last night they retuned to the accommodation to their key not working and again tried to locate Somone to help. It took a good 20 minutes of calling and knocking to rouse the night staff and they were subjected to attitude and rudeness from the staff member.
When they went to check out the same staff member snatched the key off them and acted with such rudeness and belligerence.
How disappointing when there is limited accommodation around this area that hotel guests are treated in this manner. I am truly disgusted that this is the standard set by this place.
I would not advise staying here unless you will be coming and going during business hours as any assistance after hours is unlikely.

Never have I seen such absolute belligerence and out right rudeness. The female staff member did not offer a apology of any kind after being locked out of our room for the second time. Checking out this morning, she snathed the key from me and once again only grunted. I will never stay at best western again

Stayed here recently for work and the room seemed basic but clean however night 1 was kept awake all night by antics in the next room and outside my door which was scary as I was in the room on my own, called reception with no answer and contemplated calling police but didn't so the next day I asked to be moved which was done however with no concern or apologies from the management.very rude and abrupt. Found out many guest staying there are funded by government so the management would know this and at the very least could of offered an apology.

The rooms were slightly dated, However, they were sound and practical for our short stay.

The only let down would be that there were some rather rowdy guests on the first night.

We would stay here again!

Have stayed here multiple times for business, it used to be okay but it seems to keep changing hands and getting worse each time. Check in takes unnecessarily long and staff aren’t very helpful. More often than not seems to be some kind of issue with the booking. The most recent time as I was entering my room reception staff came out and stated I had been given the wrong room and moved me (rudely) to a room in a dark corner where only half the lights in the room worked and power-points had been removed from beside the bed. I definitely would not stay here for leisure and probably won’t for business either unless we’re absolutely desperate.

Very poor customer service! I booked through booking.com ensuring I selected a venue that has a late check in time. I received an email stating I had to check in at 2pm, I called and said it wasn’t possible for us to arrive at this time and explained the situation, after the person on the other end of the phone clearly didn’t listen to what I was saying and went on about check out time! I explained check out time wasn’t the issue, it was check in! This continued for a good 10minutes with her interrupting and speaking over the top of me and just being aggressive and rude! In the end we decided if this is the service you get on the phone/email BEFORE your arrival, it’s probably not somewhere you want to stay!
