Best Thai Take Away reviews
26Always top notch Thai. "Best Thai" is the perfect name. Consistently tasty dishes. Have been ordered from here for over 10 yrs and still the best.
We got some takeaway from this little cafe, which I have been wanting to try for a while. Couple of Pad Thai, Pad See Ew and drunken noodle. Pad Thai wasn't bad, but it was a bit on the sweet side, so a bit of lemon and chilli flakes was required. The Pad see ew was good though, lack a bit of spicy but still good. One of the better ones I have had. The drunken noodle wasn't too bad. It is fairly good with bamboo shoots, basil, and chilli. It does have a bit of heat but nothing too hot. It's still worth another try.
Dined in at Best Thai Take Away and the food was absolutely delicious. Authentic flavours in simple setting. Highly recommended!
Ordered for 12 people, every single person said to get again next week;) well done Best Thai Takeaway, you truly are!
Quality takeaway thai food with good value for money. I order the stir fries and fried rice dishes regularly which are delicious, though the fried tofu isn't too flavourful.
Delicious, authentic, and affordable Thai cuisine. You can also order through the FoodBooking app!
Fried rice was very good. Wouldn't have the thai green curry and beef massman curry again. Not upto standard.
Unfortunately we paid $14.50 for chicken and extra shrimp and didn’t get even one shrimp but lots of brocolli and some chicken.
Why was I charged for shrimp then today
Wait time was over 20 minutes as well and store was not busy, charged extra but didn’t give any prawn
Very nice Thai food. Green curry tasted really nice and authentic, Pad Grapow was nice, and Tom Yum friend rice was also very tasty.
Waiting 40 minutes for my order made up of 3 dishea and spring rolls.person who charged me said 20 minutes.
All that keeps coming out of the kitchen are uber eats bags. Obviously walk in customers not important enough. Very disappointing, 3 year old at home waiting for dinner.
Ribbon noodle is a must try here, curries and stir fried are good every time. Veggies are always very fresh and crunchy. Price is good. Highly recommended!
Excellent food and service. Cheerful staff that are friendly and helpful. Would recommend this thai take away experience to anyone who loves Thai food.
Love this place! The food is authentic and delicious. Moreover, the always accomodate to your taste (eg: no vegetables) Would recommend to anyone in the area! 10/10!
Great Thai. Just a tip, make sure you check the satay source is included in your order before getting home.
Food is delicious every time, service is very friendly, it's pretty much my favorite Thai shop just love it but don't get scared by it's quite look
AMAZING food! Very fresh ingredients, one of the best green curry I had in Melbourne and staff are very friendly:) Very very very GOOD Food!:)
Maybe we caught these guys on a bad day because the ratings and score are generally great, but the dinner we ordered was really poor.
We ordered: Thai Green Curry, Garlic Beef, Pad Thai, Spring Rolls and for dessert Sweet Roti Bread.
The Green Curry wasn't green, and tasted like a dish that just had the curry powder in it. The rest of the dishes were chewy and had clearly been microwaved to reheat them.
The dessert was too tough and chewy to eat.
Like I said maybe I got them on a bad day so will try again, but having eaten in Thailand this food was nowhere near it.
Good food, but there was 2 prawns in my whole seafood noodle dish. Reasonable price and quick service.
Lacking ambience and atmosphere, and hard to hear over the kitchen exhaust fans.
TL;DR - nice food, but best for takeaway.
I love the food here which is cheap compare to other Thai restaurants. Service is excellent as well!
Heard great things about this place. They are all true ️
Ordered tofu green curry, coconut rice, tofu pineapple rice, tofu chili noodles and a veg serving of spring rolls.
It was ready in under 20 min for me to pick up and the people are absolutely lovely.
It's so nice to interact with nice people. It's a rarer occurrence these days than it used to be.
I was able to have a chat with the lovely lady who served me.
The rice was perfectly cooked. The pineapple rice was my favourite. Never had that before and will definitely be back for more!
The Green Curry was awesome, spicy and hot while soothing as green curry often is and should be. Teamed with the coconut rice it was a real delight. Plenty of vegetables and content which was also a nice surprise. Often restaurants skimp on such things and it ruins the experience when places rip you off, especially vegetables which are so cheap.
The spring rolls were great. I think there may have been some lemongrass in them. They were cooked in fresh oil and were lovely and crisp.
All up it cost $41.00 for the lot and I was able to get 5 meals out of it. That's great value and I will be back again very soon.
I highly recommend these ladies and gentlemen. Really, really nice people who provide excellent food at a reasonable cost.
What more could you ask for?
Oh, almost forgot- there is a certificate in the window showing they gained an award in 2016 for cleanliness of their premises. Also excellent news!
They are closed on Mondays and while taste buds may not like this, everyone deserves a break!
Thanks for the great experience Best Thai Takeaway
