Berwick Inn Hotel reviews
44Food was absolutely beautiful. A good night had by us all. Will be going again. I don't hesitate in recommending the Berwick Inn Hotel to anyone. Good priced food also. Heather ️
Berwick Inn Hotel is a great place to get a meal, have a drink (or both) and play the pokies too. It is very clean and comfortable and their prices are very reasonable. The staff are friendly and helpful too.
Yelled at by staff when trying to come in “yeah nah, we’re at capacity, can’t you see that” when there was no people in the lower dining area.
This is a great, classic pub. No try hard modern twists. Just the classic Australian pub feel with a ripper bistro. The staff are great and the food well priced. Great choice if your undecided on were to go.
Not alot for the kids to do but they still have fun.
Service was great, atmosphere great, the pork belly was done with gravy that was very average and wrecked it all for me sorry It was a bit tough and dry also. Veges were fine.
Went there for my Birthday came all the way from Traralgon 2pm sitting 10 people was told to get out at 3.15 food nothing to rave about definitely would not recommend this place.
I have lived in Berwick for 2 years now and have made the Berwick Inn my favourite eating out place, both weekly on my own when I do my weekly shopping and for special occasions with family. It’s become my home away from home.
I love the meals and I love the friendly atmosphere. I especially enjoy the choice available in senior sized meals. I have eaten elsewhere and been served meals double the size and double the cost and they’ve been wasted on me. Plus, I have the satisfaction of a guaranteed tasty and well cooked meal every time.
I was part of a group and nobody enjoyed the food unfortunately. Staff were not too sure who's order was who's & the food was quite bland (40% ppl didn't finish their meals). The person sitting next to me was a chef & explained how they had cooked the meals. I hope they improve with time as the atmosphere in the place is pretty nice! 2 star because the espresso Martinis were good!
Great atmosphere and lovely for a family dinner.
Got a little cold where we were sitting as the side door kept being left open by people leaving the restaurant, I had to close it 6 times over and hour - would recommend putting some sort of closer on the doors to prevent them from being accidentally left open especially in the colder weather.
Disappointing, menu app difficult to use, our coffee order messed up even when it was in writing, Parma dry, slow to clear table. Not going back
Very well organised over this hard time with covid and organising limited diners. Friendly staff and food delivered to us promptly. Well done guys
Had dinner here on two consecutive nights recently. Great service, ordering from the phone is a great option. Food were on point, we enjoyed the pork ribs, Tuscan chicken, and rump steak. We will come again.
Meals have definitely gone down hill over the past year. Chicken Parma was, for what should be one the better choices as it’s always a pub favorite, pretty ordinary at best. Tasted like a microwaved frozen meal. Not somewhere i will be dining again.
Good food, had steak was supposed to be medium/rare, it was medium, no biggy. It was tasty and tender, chips were delish as was the mushroom gravy. Drinks cold and staff were very pleasant. Mrs had garlic prawns and she loved them also.
Used to be a Nice place to have a Guinness pint on tap in the area and chill but they have not stocked it on tap for ages.the cans and surgers just don't do it, if you really like your Guinness fresh.head to Notting Hill Hotel if you still need a fresh Guinness Pint on tap.
Tried to get prices for my sons 19th bday. I put down 18th and got told the venue does not cater for an 18th bday.even tho its an option.why? Because they have to have a legal guardian there for people under aged. No questions asked about this.
I absolutely loved the food, you get more than you pay for and it all tastes amazing. The bartenders and servers are incredibly friendly. Overall an amazing experience
Meals were nice, they were quick and the service was also quite good. Only reason I rated it 4 instead of 5 is at the end of the night our 2 kids were getting a bit restless so we asked if we could take the kids dessert included in the meal home, to avoid bothering others eating (again the restless 4 year old) and they didnt do takeaway. I don't want to sit in a restaurant with a screaming kid just to get what i paid for. My partner had to go sit in the car while myself and our eldest ate the dessert. Otherwise we loved it.
Large venue with a good menu and good atmosphere. We arrived early and some of the staff seemed a bit put out by us sitting in the bistro before it was technically open (we had a pram and only place accessible by ramp was bistro) but once they got over that, seemed friendly enough. Food was good and well priced.
Excellent as always. Superb friendly staff tonight. Thanks for nearly serving my fav dessert. Bread and Butter Pudding. Lol. In joke for the night
