Bentleigh RSL

It's my first time taking my parents to bentleigh RSL for a dinner. The food is ok with $20 special including drink. The kids gift was nice and generous. However the two female staff didn't seem friendly. One Asian lady was ok and the other was just rude in the end to us. There are some rules we are not aware, and restrictive compared to other restaurants.why not just tell us in a nice way rather than an aggressive manner which makes us very upset that we couldn't see the man waiting in front us when we were called to pay for the bill immediately. I hope this will be improved as politeness should be from the heart and mind, and also on a mutual basis.

Great service, food and beverages. The staff are excellent. And paying our respects to the fallen at 6pm each day is a highlight.

The best chicken Parma (and the biggest I've ever had at RSL), the staff is incredible friendly and helpful, the service is so fast, I went to the toilet and the food was there.
We will be back!

Oh just amazing I had forgotten what a good burguer tasted like would highly recommend the beef burger with a ginger beer and it has a kid section with video games and a jungle gym.

Nice presented bistro cater for all you tastes.

I’m not a great fan of RSL restaurants and this was no exception. However, I give them a big for the very friendly staff, excellent service, and fast food. Even if the food wasn’t quite up to my standard we had a fantastic time.

Always a great location for a family bistro bite to eat, relaxing and watching some sport or having a flutter. Staff are super attentive. Supporting our RSL system is vital for our men and women who serve.

Great venue, clean kitchen, good service and the atmosphere is great.best local pub around the areas.

I had a meal here recently with my family. The greeting we received from the woman at reception was terrible. I didn't get her name but she was caucasian, black hair, solid build, shortish and about 45-55 years old. She was so rude. Absolutely no manners or nicety about her. Not a good front for a RSL. Management should pose as a customer and see for themselves. I would have thought RSLs would want all the patrons they can get during this time and going in to the future. I won't let this experience stop me going to other RSLs as my Dad and Granddad were in the services.

Very helpful staff as I was assisting a disabled client and he was also impressed with their diligence

Great place for friends to gather ard, atmosphere is great and service is impeccable but food definitely can be better.

Lest we forget. A experience not easily forgotten with a great meal and a fun play area. A great place to get together with your friends and chat or just to relax and have a good meal

Great food, service and staff. We have an annual get together with Friends and we always feel welcome.

Great place to eat and lovely venue. We love to go here once a week. Lately there have been instances of poor behaviour by drunk patrons picking fights, loud, rude, foul mouth and security need to step up as they don't seem to care or slow to react even when brought to their attention. Have RSL'S dropped their standards?

The food here has really improved since reopening after covid. Dishes more interesting and better prepared. Prices have gone up a bit but it's better value now. Staff are more attentive too, taking more pride in their work.

Had a nice lunch for 3 it was a little quite in gaming room was a little surprised to see staff not busy doing some machine cleaning.

A great place for an easy (but good quality) meal out. Menu is reasonably standard, but good tasty and reasonable value. Also well situated - though of course it's busy (it's an RSL after all). Well worth supporting.
