Because it's a cafe so let's start with coffee. The coffee was amazing. Beautifully presented, perfect temperature and amazing taste.

The food was so delicious and again very well presented. The prices are very competitive too. The serve size was big enough.

There is heaps of space. Inside and outside.

Although the cafe was crazy busy, due to mother's day. They were managing it very well.

And to top it all off. The hospitality was probably the best. The manager Peter saw us worried about the little one getting cold, due to wind coming in through open door, he closed that door probably 15-20 times during the crazy busy period. As someone or other left it open. Just looking after a customer without saying anything.

The staff was so welcoming too.

I have tried probably 6 cafes in this area so far and can vouch for this one to be the best. Not that any others are bad. But these guys have pushed the bar so high.

Nice cosy stylish set up, average food and coffee. Not family friendly (young kids). We really tried to like this place but after waiting 45mins for our food to arrive on a Saturday morning, we decided to cancel the order only to be told it was finally coming. When our big breakfast arrived, disappointingly 1) they got the order of eggs wrong 2) bacon was burnt and unappetising. We just quickly ate and left as didn't want to wait for food further if we had to send it back to kitchen.

Wait staff were efficient and professional. Management could put more kitchen staff on busy periods so that customers aren't waiting for their food till the cows come home.

I've always noticed how busy this cafe seems to be so was excited to try it out today for brunch.

There's ample seating here and I really love the outside courtyard area - especially on a nice day. Service was friendly and we were really happy with what we ordered.

The corn & zucchini fritters were so tasty. They had lots more flavour than most fritters I've had recently. They were also nice and crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. The halloumi took this dish to the next level.

The eggs benedict was again, super tasty and well seasoned. We added hashbrowns which were some of the best hashbrowns ever. We also really enjoyed the iced latte and iced coffee, both were the perfect coffee strength.

Based on how many were having lunch at our time we thought the service was somewhat slow. However, the Covid-19 restrictions were well maintained/controlled. Meal was very nice together with our takeaway coffees. Will rerurn.

Great, honest-to-goodness local cafe. Since working from home this has become my favourite spot to get a coffee and a bite on lunch - the pies and sausage rolls are a favourite (highly recommend a schnitty wrap, too). Staff are friendly and I’ve never been kept waiting too long. Takeaway offering is strong and always nice to see what new goodies are in the sweets display. Looking forward to trying out a sit-down meal soon!

A very busy place with pleasant waiters. Not fancy but straight to the point. Right next to Essendon train station and so convenient to grab a quick bite.

Went here twice, once to have an evening meal and then to have a breakfast. Both meals were exceptional, great friendly and prompt service. Evening menu had limited choices but quality was excellent. More options on breakfast menu, particularly recommend vegetarian big breaky and avo smash. Lot's of choices of seating, curbside, indoors and covered outdoor area. A few steps from the Essendon railway station and run by a happy young team.

Great little place for coffee. Staff always friendly. I notice that most people who go there enjoy their meals and it has a great ambience.
If you haven, t been there you should definitely try it.the coffee is great.

This is my favorite place in Melbourne.
Everything works here.the ambiance, the friendly and attentive staff, the buzzing location.
My view from the window was warm and cozy. For a busy Sunday brunch my partner and i never felt rushed or neglected.
The food is in my view faultless. It's presented beautifully, the flavors are wonderful, its colorful, fresh and exciting. Absolute quality.
I found the prices very reasonable.
I encourage people to support this family run gem.
I could see these are people who put heart and some actual sole onto what they do which i find rare these days when i go out.

Above standard Soy latte. Well portioned dishes. Friendly pricing. Taste is very good! The Big Breaky and Folded Omelette that we had were very good! Definitely will go back to visit again.

Absolutely love the food, coffee and vibes at Benny & Me! Definitely one of my favourite little cafes to visit anytime I come to Melbs! Their all day breakfast and chicken schnitty rolls are the bomb. I only recently found out they do catering and takeaway services too! Can’t recommend this place enough if you’re in Essendon! You won’t be disappointed

My new local. All staff members, no matter how busy they are, always take the time to say hello. It makes a big difference and is very welcoming! Coffee is always great, and food service is quick and tasty.

Absolutely delicious.
Big Breakfast will fill you until dinner time. Great food, great service and great prices. Plenty of carparking available just watch out for the Parking Grinches, they just love to give you a ticket.

I love going to this cafe. It's been one of my favourites since I moved to Essendon last year. The food always tastes great, the service is friendly, prices are reasonable and it has such a lovely atmosphere

One of the best spots in the area. Great friendly service, tasty food and prices are very good compared to competitors. Faultless experience every time I eat there.

Staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food was great - chili scrambled eggs were delicious and a very generous serving size! Hot chocolate also good. Would definitely recommend.
