Benns Books is your go to bookstore for everything.forget QBD books or Dymocks, their customer service is at a high standard, with staff being welcoming from the moment you step in the door. I was greeted by a male whom I asked for book recommendations for a certain genre, and they certainly did not disappoint with their choices! Have been coming back due to their extensive range of books, and reasonable prices.

Amazing service! Was greeted with a lovely girl who went above and beyond to track down a book for me and to my luck was able to get it same day as well as some other goodies!

Lovely local bookshop, wide range, nice cards and games and a good frequent buyer points system. During lockdown they kept the whole family going with deliveries.

Only recently visited this local bookstore for the first time and was very happily surprised! Sometimes local bookstores are limited with their offerings but this place was very well stocked and has an AMAZING children’s book selection. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Great service. Very helpful staff. Made purchasing over the phone extremely accessible and easy. I requested delivery the next week as it was a gift and they were more than happy to help make it happen. Appreciate the teams help so very much, will definitely be coming back and recommending to friends.

I try to support local business but two poor instore experiences and one online mean's I'm done.

I visited a couple of times in 2020 when I bought books and once in April 2021 when I was about to buy a book but changed my mind because of a woman who worked there being rude to me. On all these occasions I was not greeted. My most recent visit I was spoken to with judgmental instructions in an unfriendly tone without any effort on the woman's part to listen to my response - she literally instructed me and walked away like she was my parent as if I was a child. 2 stars instead of 1 because the selection of books is fine.

A great stalwart of the Centre Rd strip that has been continuously serving the Bentleigh community for decades. Thoughtfully arranged by topic with a considered selection, it is a great place to browse to find that new release or treasured classic. Philosophy is also included for the high minded along with a wide choice of biography. The children's and teens section is great as well.

You won't get better customer service in any other book store. I have been getting assistance from all the staff for my now 15 year super fuzzy reader. Staff have helped me find the books that he enjoys over many year for my teenager. He has enjoyed many many hours of reading. We love and support such a fine small local business.
