Bendigo Uniting Op Shop

Dropped into shop as a tourist in town. I am a regular op shopper. A clean shop but prices quite expensive. Shop annoying as everything set out in colours, including the books! Too hard when looking for a particular author. Asked if there was a box of gloves to look through. Was told if any they would be scattered around the shop. I assumed that meant colour coded with everything else. I did not buy anything.

There's a trend in opshops these days to colour code everything, rather than placing items in sections like pants, tops, coats, pjays, etc.it's so hard to know where to start. Pricing is on the rise, and we who are struggling, financially, are getting pinched at the opshops as well.

By far one of my favourite thrift stores in Bendigo with the best workers ever! Fair prices for quality items and can score some pretty cool vintage brands! Guy with the big fluffy beard is by far one of the most helpful and considerate salesman i know and improves the overall atmosphere of the whole store!

A pleasant op shop. A little more expensive than others but it's beautifully organised and very inclusive. Good selection of plus size clothing and lots of books.

Too much like a boutique. Nice if you like that type of thing. I prefer the old fashioned op shops. Small town op shops. Too expensive.
