Great beer selection. Small plate food is pretty good but you end up spending a lot for not much.

This is a really great little spot with a very big beer selection. Staff knew their beer well and it is just a great place for a hang after work

Benchwarmer is a gem in our little North Melbourne community.

The staff are all super friendly, *amazing* selection of beers and the food is awesome.
The space itself is really nice - light and bright, with a beautiful sunny courtyard out the back. Always a chill vibe and good background music so you can actually chat about all the cool beers you're trying.

It's always super clean (no gross sticky pub floors or bathrooms!) and they follow all the relevant COVID safety protocols.

This place has TOO many beer options - this is not a bad thing. If you are looking to sit-in for a few beers, I'd recommend getting onto their website first and get a feel for what you might like when you get there. Otherwise, you could risk losing yourself in the choices and leave your date alone at the table waiting for your return.

Stellar selection of beers with tasty izakaya like snacks and NBA in the background. They certainly ain't Benchwarmers, they're in the game big time.

Huge range of beers. Quite a minimalistic feel with warm vibes and friendly staff! Highly recommend the oatmeal stout on tap.
