The older guy who owns/works there is so rude to people.
He must be the owner because no owner/manager would allow him to work in customer service.
My family (3 kids) and I will never get/order food from there again.
And after reading the other reviews I know that there are many people who refuse to go back for the same reason.
Awful Awful Person!

Chips amazing and overfilled.
Potato cakes and dimmys awesome.
The chicken 9 times out of 10 really good also.
Looking forward to them opening again after the Xmas break.

The chicken was as tough as old boots, chip’s excellent. I wasn’t going to review them so I took it back to show them. He blamed the chicken which couldn’t defend itself as it had been cremated. So here’s my review

Can’t rate these guys highly enough. Have gone here many times over the years and always come out happy.

It's the second time I've been here, the chicken is good, tender and tasty, however, the chips are far below average. The first time I ordered from here I thought maybe they've overlooked the cooking time but unfortunately the second time around the chips were even worse. Overcooked and I think they need to change their oil, it simply does not taste good. My suggestion is that if you want a good chicken then you'll get it here but I would give the chips a miss.

When a customer orders 5 dim sims you definitely don't cook four fresh ones and hide the cold one that has sat in the window for hours in the bottom of the bag. Bland chicken pasta salad and fillet burger wasn't a fillet it was a deep fried schnitzel. The menu is as deceitful as the owner. I didn't think KFC would have better standards and quality control.

Worst most rude place ever! All I can eat is the breast part of the chicken, and I only wanted 2 wing quarters, and was denied and told I can only have 1 wing piece! DO NOT GO HERE! RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Bbq and chips was ok but the seafood salad was off. Took it back and they didn't even want to look at it. The old bloke in there said if I didn't like it then take it to the council ‍️‍️
It genuinely was off. It stunk.
Will never ever go back.

Spicy wings are deliciius, charcoal chicken is yum but they do rush their chips sometimes so they're a bit undercooked which is why they lost a star

They does not follow any safety guidelines such as wearing masks and protective gloves when serving during this pandemic situation although authorities have been asked to do so.more over poor customers service and absurd behaviour towards the delivery drivers.

OMG the attitude of the staff… Try to complain they will give you the vibe that you are not paying for food and they are paying for your food.disgusted by their attitude and won’t return just because of their attitude

These guys know how to cook a good charcoal chicken. Salads are always fresh and good variety of them too.
Nice clean shop, always busy.
The schnitzels are sooo big I can't finish it all.
Great work and I highly recommend this shop.

I recently arrived in this restaurant to pick the order but the old man he took a long time and behave very rude to me so i never visit again in this restaurant and click on ready to pickup when your order is actually done

The sarcasm from this shop was delightful every person who didn’t like their service pretty much got the same response so basically they don’t give a rats ra hoo. Miss the old owners
Wanted a quarter of chicken with a wing today and they said no I could only have the leg as they didn’t have many chickens left as I don’t eat leg I didn’t get any. This is the second time this has happened so I definitely won’t be back

My husband Mick & I enjoyed the Free Meal made available by Belvedere charcoal Chicken to pensioners to brighten their day, in this depressing time of isolation. We were delighted & humbled that they would think of others at such a worrying time for them too. The meal was delicious, made even sweeter by the goodwill that engendered it. Thank you so much!

I walked past today and saw the Free Meal for Pensioners sign on the window. I was amazed at such generosity during these difficult times.
I walked in and was in awe of the atmosphere and enthusiasm of staff who were busy preparing other orders.
I spoke to the young lady at the counter who was super helpful and offered so much positive energy while waiting for my free meal.
Belvedere Charcoal Chicken - you are truly amazing people who have given us locals something positive to look forward to when in need - Hope.
Not many would do what you are doing and I just wanted to say "Well Done and thank you for my beautiful meal".

1st time here, chicken & chips were amazing! Chicken was cooked to perfection and fluffy crispy chips
Great range of salads too.
