Wife asked them a week ago to come around and quote on a front fence.a guy turned up today and slowly drove past our house just looking and not stopping to come in and do a proper quote as requested.wife rangBelmont fencing and they said they do 50 quotes a day (bs) I’d say … they said they be back in about a week but didn’t take the time to make an appointment with us

AVIOD BELMONT FENCING

We used Belmont Fencing to replace our fence, we had 4 separate neighbours to coordinate and needed the quote amended a few times. When Belmont requoted one of the times, they removed the removal of the old fence without consulting us and we didn't notice. Both us and our neighbours had all paid our the deposit before i picked it up, and when i question Belmont, they said we must have requested it be removed. That wasn't possible, because we weren't here when they came to requote. I was then left in an awkward position with my neighbours to go and ask for more money, for something that was in the original quote. Belmont were dismissive of the problem and said things like 'we do this stuff all the time' referring to how they couldn't be at fault for the requote, they also said if we didn't like it then they'll refund us the deposits and we can go elsewhere. This came at a time when we had a storm and our fence was down and there were long wait times if we needed to go elsewhere. It left us in a venerable position where we felt no choice but to wear the extra cost.

The fence install itself was also done high, to the point where our dogs could almost get underneath, they were good about this and came to patch it up. But the lower fence looks weird now. It was hard to want to pay the balance of the deposit when the time came. I was told that the reason the fence wasn't done higher was because we didn't clear the ground enough. A heads up would be nice, I'm sure they'd know we don't want massive gaps below our fence. If they're the ones who 'do this all the time' then educating their customers who might do it once or twice in a lifetime shouldn't be too much to ask.

I'd also ask your contactors to be respectful in regards to the volume they play their music at when on site. We have a new born and i work from home, so it was quite annoying at times. I did move his speaker at one point and said that it was because our boy was sleeping and it was right onsite his room. He was a really nice bloke, i just feel tradies need to be respectful of unessasery noise they make when on residential sites. Perhaps headphones would be a good idea if they want to play it loud.

After 5 years their hardwood posts completely rotted away and now the fence is falling. They quoted full price for repairs.

Added returns onto the fenceline even after being notified that this was not to be undertaken. No communication at all throughout the process or before this was erected, even though it's on my property line and I'm accountable for half of the invoice. Won't run the fence down the property line as it wasn't quoted or that it's "difficult" and if they were to address it then it wouldn't be done for four months. Have emailed them since and had no response.

I had a small part of my driveway fence and a new gate constructed. I've had 2 timber fences built on properties I've owned. This was easily the most pain-free and quality result. I have no trouble recommending Belmont Fencing's services to others

DO NOT FENCE WITH THESE GUYS. Absolutely horrible experience. It took them so long to complete the most basic fence, and the contact was non existent. Never getting back to us to arrange for them to complete it and then it turns out they built the fence incorrectly, again unable to return messages and we were left waiting. The fence has now fallen apart and is not straight and split in sections 1 month later. We have gone with someone else to fix their horrible mistakes. The women on reception was extremely rude to us despite us being patient and calm. ALL around horrible service

Do not go with this company, I got a 2 metre high pine fence built by them about 1 year ago, the communication was really poor, they told me it was my responsibility to locate the underground services but couldn’t point me in any direction on how to go about getting that done, they were short and dismissive any time I had to contact them, the fence was put up from start to finish in about 5 hours, they used bags of rapid set concrete and the timber was really bad quality, I’ve got loose posts already that I’m going to have to dig up and do properly and I’ve replaced several pailings that have bowed or split, in the weather, I haven’t even bothered to call them about it because i know it will be more hassle and harder for me to get them to fix it than it is to duck down to Bunnings and do it myself, I’m just lucky I am handy enough around the house to do those repairs, I would hate to know how many old ladies out there have spent money on a new fence only to have it last a year.

Great company to work with. Very flexible and gave a first class service. The fence was erected to a very high standard. We are very pleased we chose Belmont Fencing and couldn't recommend them high enough.

Recently had Belmont fencing complete the fence at my property in Armstrong Creek. The reason I chose to move forward with Belmont fencing out of the 3 quotes I got was because they were by far the most easiest to deal with. They were prompt, communicated really well with me and booked the work in quickly. The product itself seems sturdy and of good quality. They finished it quickly and I really can’t fault them.

Worst experience of my life, fence was falling over within a year, complained several times only to be let down and lied too! Terrible workmanship and customer service, dont waste your time and money as you will be pulling it down and redoing in a year! Extremely disappointed would never reccomend

We had our fence done by Belmont fencing in December 2017, after getting onto them and getting one paling fixed as it had split in the middle after 2 months of the fence being erected, a month later there were another 3 palings that had imperfections and were breaking. I called and was told they were banked up until Easter they will get in touch after Easter. I called up again in May 2018 as I hadn’t heard from them and was told again they are very busy- someone will be in contact. Again nothing. Now July I ring back and the lady said someone will be put over the next month to fix it- still nothing. Call back again end of August to be told they’ve been really busy- someone will call me back and it will be fixed before Christmas- STILL NOTHING in January. February 2019 I call up regarding the palings to be told again someone will be out to fix them when they get time- March 2019- STILL NOTHING! Badly run company. Would not recommend to anybody
