Bell City / Novotel Melbourne Preston

I like then Rome is spacious but the bathroom is tiny, especially the shower. Nothing much. Around the hotel. Service is just ok and average. Not impressed the whole bottle of water looks like tap
Water refilled. The bed and bed sheet I love them. I got the room with panoramic view. A bit more, for the cleanliness is 4/10. I saw dirt and dust. I don’t feel clean and hygienic much.

But don’t bring your bathers as you can’t swim in it unless you pay $12 each.
The breakfast is boring, no variety. Stayed for 6 days and everything was the same day after day. Had to asked numerous times for the containers to be refilled as noticed a lot of cost cutting.

My go to choice of accomodation when in Melbourne, good rooms & the restaurant has recently reopened for dinner

The worst experience I've every had. Check in tired and hungry. Decide the give the hotel restaurant a go, offered water (nevervturned up) 20 minutes for my first burger, looked great, still raw and frozen in the middle, 20 mins for the refire, looked even better, offered a glass of wine (never poured), raw again (although a little warmer), then to cap it off, 25 minutes trying to get a refund, too late and hangry now to go trawling a strange city for something to eat. I must've been really bad as I'm going to bed without dinner!

We always enjoy staying at an Accor group hotel but something about the Preston hotel.
Hard to explain.it's like an office converted into a hotel.

Room was nice with city view, but the overnight meal prepared early, there is a room for improvement.

The room is very clean and the hotel is very nice with good ambience and excellent staff. Check in was very smooth and I'm sorry for not reviewing any service as I am not consuming anything from the hotel. Staff genuinely were kind and helpful. Good hygiene maintained. Thank you (:

Rooms are larger than usual and clean. The toilets are a tad bit small. Breakfast Is great. The staff are helpful and friendly. Located close to a lot of bars and restaurants just a few blocks away. 20 mins to downtown by cab and a 45 min bus ride.

The hotel is nice but:
- poor location - 40 min till Melbourne City.
- limited dinning options
+ friendly staff.

There was a post in the middle of room 449. I almost walked into it several times. You can't sit straight on the toilet as your right leg hits the vanity unit. The shower taps continually fell off. One of the lights in the shower is connected to the room lights, just so weird.

The manager asked me to leave while trying to organise a uber for my mother who had surgery next door. No humility no dignity, shame

Great 6 night stay in King studio with everything I needed. Nice big space. Quiet. Super comfy bed. Very helpful and friendly staff. Thanks Ash and Rose. Would stay again.

The room is nice and big. The bathroom is ridiculously small.

Over night menu: I asked for their chicken Ceasar wrap. It was served Ice cold. When asked for ketchup and mustard sauce. I was told that's a part of the restaurant hence cannot be served.

I wonder who comes up with rules like these.

There is not much around the hotel.

After our airbnb host neglected to put the key in the lockbox, leaving us stranded in the rain at night with kids in tow, Novotel came to the rescue and provided amazing service, kindness and a beautiful room for us to sleep and organise ourselves. David at the front desk was very professional and lovely. Thankyou so much for taking care of our family ️

Well appointed rooms. Friendly service. Superbly located a short walk from the Bell Tower. Multiple options for evening entertainment and food.

Beware don't be fooled by the photos. I was under the impression the rooms are what's in the images "NOT" totally different. I'm very disappointed and feel ripped off.

Friendliest staff I have come across in a loooong time. Stand out star is Mark behind the bar! He is Super entertaining, kind and genuinely a really nice guy. Than you for making our stay so remarkable and memorable Mark. We will certainly be back and looking forward to seeing you again

They have refurbished the lobby and rooms in progress. Totally new atmosphere for both. Just they lack of staff and some technical issues at the moment.

Lovely place! I came here for a week-long conference and it exceeded my expectations by miles. The staff were absolutely amazing and went out of their way to ensure all of our needs were met. The facilities were very modern and fresh, great convenient location too. Definitely recommend staying here!
