Beleura Private Hospital

Had a knee replacement done on 17 aug by Dr Weber. The first few days i wasn't sure how I felt but they discovered my blood was low so after transfusion I got along in leaps and bounds. My heartfelt thanks to the doctor and nursing staff in medical ward and also to the physio staff. You all do a wonderful job. The catering and cleaning staff nursing staff etc were all so friendly and professional. I was in Portsea Ward Thank for taking care of me whilst I was there and I won't hesitate to recommend Beleura hospital to one and all. I wish each and everyone of you the best in your chosen professions.maybe I will see you all again later in the year with my right knee. Many many thanks. From Christine McKinsley

I recently had a total Hip Replacement at Beleura Private Hospital and also did inpatient Rehabilitation on Mc Crae ward.
I cannot thank every single person enough.

From the moment I walked in the doors the professionalism and care I received was second to none.

I would highly recommend Orthopaedic Surgeon Brad Crick he has done an excellent job for me personally (thankyou so much)

All the Drs, Nurses, OTs, Physiotherapist, Porters were absolutely amazing they all worked so well as a team and made me feel welcomed and safe (Thankyou)

Thanks also goes to the catering team the food was excellent (my trays always went back empty) and the staff were lovely and friendly.

All the cleaners were friendly and easy to talk to everyone and did a wonderful job.

I'm currently doing outpatient Rehabilitation there and still finding everyone so nice friendly and helpful.

So I'm guessing you can see by my review that I personally had a wonderful experience.

Had a spinal fusion and was sent to Bellura for rehabilitation. I could not ask for better treatment the staff where amazing. The nurses the cleaners the pyhsios even the lunch lady where all fantastic. The food was great and hot and the rehab helped me learn so much for when l went home.

I cannot say enough good things about Beleura hospital
The staff were lovely in the McCrae ward. On request I was transferred from PPH after robotic back surgery to start my rehab. All the physios had a permanent smile answered all questions and helped me 100 per cent
Even the meals at Beleura were edible and I can't rate this establishment high enough. I will be back.

My experience to date has been very good, I am very impressed with my two specialist's, highly organised and communicative. I visit now weekly for chemo and the nursing team so fabulous. 5 stars to all.

Went for a vascular ultrasound in suite 14 (that I had waited weeks and weeks for) and was refused entry because I had my 4 year old son with me. No attempt to gain further information or clarify my circumstances or seek approval from management. This information needs to be communicated to
clients if the specialist suites and radiology are being subjected to the same rules as the inpatient wards. Will not set foot in this place again.

9th March 2022, I had surgery at Beleura.
What a pleasant surprise, I arrived early in am and cleaner greeted us with a lovely “ good morning and take a seat, you’ll be attended to soon. ”
The whole experience was a team effort. When staff changed over they were genuinely happy to see each other.

Went to get a blood test at doravitch, was abused by staff because I had my 4 year old daughter with me.
No where on the hospital website, nor is there anything saying children aren't allowed into the hospital, even though I was only there for a blood test.
Discrimination at its finest as I am fully vaccinated and should of been allowed to get a blood test. Would the nurses like me to leave my 4 year old outside unattended.

My recent experience at this hospital after a medical procedure was absolutely impressive.attention from all staff and doctors was caring, professional and comforting. Thoroughly recommended.

I stayed 7 days for rehab after hip replacement and the staff and facilities where excellent. Very clean and new environment, food was fantastic. Would highly recommend this hospital. Thank you for looking after me so well.

Short stay ward. Can’t rate the team highly enough. From the moment I walked in I was met with friendly cheery nurses who work like a well oiled machine with Dr Wolfe and Dr lourey. Thank you to all involved

My recent stay at beleura was painful after knee surgery but the team of doctors, nurses, rehab and food are outstanding which made my stay of 11days very comfortable.i believe a special mention of Gratititude must go to the following people - Jo in the High care unit Balcombe ward Kim Rehab Ward- Urina, Phoebe (all the best with your nursing) Stella, Roz, Frances, Alison, Leanne, Emma, Vimal, Billy, Jo and all the rest of the nurses i cannot remember your care, patients and understanding is fantastic. Terrible administration. Ignorant and inconsiderate. Only care is their hip pocket. Hence the renovations.

My husband went for a knee surgery today and find the staff there professional and excellent! He went back home and feeling not too well after dinner due to the low blood pressure.
I called the hospital and Linda the nurse there helped us over the phone straight away and really professional and efficient, my husband was feeling much better after we followed her instruction.
Linda also called up a couple of hours after to check if my husband is ok, really professional and caring!
Thank you all for taking care of us, we really appreciate it!

I have just spent 12 days having surgery and rehab, in Beleura Private Mornington. Thank you to all the staff for your excellent care and encouragement during my stay.
A particular mention to the kitchen staff and chefs who provided delicious meals every day, with a varied choice of menu.
I left with a very positive impression of your facilities. Thank you.

Can’t speak highly enough of the nursing staff and physio department rehabilitation. And for those that are always forgotten or given bad reviews, the catering staff. The meals provided were of the highest quality, nutritionally, variety and taste wise. I absolutely enjoyed my stay. Thank you

This was my fourth say in the Eliza Ward. All the staff in the Eliza Ward are professional, caring, compassionate & committed to getting you well. You feel incredibly safe and respected, and leave with hope again. I just wish the government would increase patient-nurse ratios so we could have more of them, and nurses weren't under so much pressure (not that they show it they remain calm). There is also a wonderful cleaner Jenny. I'm sure it's not in her job description to provide a healing experience for patients, but she does it in bucket loads. She knows her boundaries but always has a kind encouraging word, a heartfelt smile and somehow always remembers every patients name. The management team at Beleura & Ramsay Health should be incredibly proud of these staff.

Parking reasonable but vehicle in/out road signage is useless and only gers people stressed before they go in
