Beku Gelato Carlton

My go to gelato! The flavours are so good and unique, really great point of difference from the usual! Never disappointed coming here

I had been missing out on really nice gelatos until I tried Beku!

I had tried gelatos from other popular names out there and was a bit sceptical about Beku because their flavours were unusual.

How wrong I was! Their gelatos were exceptional. We tried their pineapple tart and it was very delicious.

The flavour was well balanced and very refreshing.

I will definitely go back to try their other flavours.

Tried ube, teh tarik and cendol. I think my favourite was teh tarik, really nice with ube and cendol coming in second. The cendol is a non-dairy one, and the coconut milk taste is very subtle which I was surprised with and forgot it was non-dairy! So smooth! For me, I would have preferred cendol pieces mixed within instead of as a topping.

Service was really good. Staff were really friendly and patient! The lady who served us was really cool.

Would definitely recommend a try, but I think its usually busy so prepare for a bit of a wait in the evenings. Would like to try more flavours and the teh tarik drink next time (it's smelt so good as we watched one being made).

I hope you guys have cups that fit 3 scoops in the future.

I'm glad asian flavoured gelato places are popping up and getting some recognition here now!

Lovely and patient staff who encouraged tastings. Lots of fun flavours, silky texture and generous scoops! 10/10 can't wait to come back again and try some different flavours

I am a die hard pidapipo fan but goodness me, this place is crackalackin! I had the pineapple tart gelato.soo good

Card only, but charges you a surcharge if you pay by card. They didn't pack the ice cream into my son's cone properly and it fell off straight away. No offer to replace it. I didn't ask for a free replacement but instead just suggested the girl pack it down inside the cone next time instead of just sitting it on top. Was completely dismissed. We picked up the ice cream off the floor ourselves and put in the bin but suggested they wipe the floor as another customer might slip. They said "uh, huh" and suffice to say 10mins later it's still there. The ice cream was great; lots of vegan options; they don't add fructose; lots of Asian flavors; but the service is terrible.

The ice cream was really nice. We had the Yakult and Ube but there were many other SE Asian flavours which I'm looking forward to trying. Staff were also friendly. Can't wait to come back here!

The ice cream flavours are out of this world! It did take a while to get served, however it was worth it

We got the calamansi and injeolmi which flavor-wise were 3.8/5 but the amount you get isn’t worth the price. Just a small scoop was pricey. Went there to get the ube flavor and tried it but it was mild and I’ve had better.

It was so yummy that I couldn't resist bringing a box home with me! Loved how authentic the flavours are! Especially the ones I've not seen anywhere else! Keep up the good work!

Delicious gelato in flavours you can only get at this place. 10/10, I’ll get another scoop of teh tarik soon!
