Nice neat room, but the alcove outside our door had all the leaf litter and rubbish in it for the duration of our stay. Also weirdly the motel manager came in and replaced the air conditioner filters while we were still in the room. Something that could have waited till latter.

We arrived and the fridge was not turned on, so our frozen groceries defrosted. We actually had to clean the bottom of the shower ourselves because it was dirty. The inside of the kettle was also dirty and we had to clean it out. The shower temperature kept changing from burning hot to freezing cold and the water pressure was very weak. The beds were very uncomfortable, even the kids complained. Unfortunately we won't be staying again.

Stayed 5 nights had no service to room at all. We had to empty our bin. No fresh towels. Couldn't get floors cleaned

From $149? There were two of us, twin room was $160. Very comfortable, clean & quiet, clean pool & tidy grounds, reception person was informative & genuine. We will be back.
Comfy. Extra bed side lamps for reading on the beds with a wine after a long day, would be nice, otherwise, perfect!

We stay in this hotel every time we visit Beechworth. Hotel is located in City center, close to everything. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful

Stayed here with a friend in late December, we got there around 11.30am intially to query if some medication could be stored in a fridge, but were granted an exceptionally early check in at no extra cost! The gentleman that greeted us was friendly and accomodating, Good sized room, with 3 comfortable beds, Aldi coffee machine and a decent sized bathroom. Perfect walking distance to the main part of town too! Will definitely stay here again!

Big, rooms, clean and comfortable right in the middle of the town. Electric blanket was a treat plus air con.

Excellent location as its a short walk to the town centre. Room was clean, pleasant and functional, although quite dark.
Reception was friendly and the price was about right. Great for a nights stay.

Dingy and poorly lit rooms. The ceiling fan didn't work and the hot water took ages to come. There was a notice on the mirror in the bathroom about water conservation and towel use but apparently the manager/owner failed to read his/her own notice about saving water.

I asked the fellow on the desk about the slow and sometimes non existent wifi and he blamed telstra and the NBN. He appeared little interested in helping. His wifi appeared to work OK as he was able to process my payment with lightning speed.

Would not recommend this place for accommodation unless you are desperate as customer service is non existent and amenties do not measure up to the testimonials featured on their website.

Very warm, inviting feel to the room, instantly felt at home. Was greeted upon arrival and every time I returned to my room by Mia - the owner's adorable cat. Great location, comfy beds, can't go wrong really. Also they promptly rang me when an important item was left behind so I am even happier with the service standards. Highly recommend.

Great location, stroll to pub and shops.
Clean and tidy room. Coffee machine and room prewarmed was appreciated.
Lovely manager with sense of humor and many thanks to the cleaning staff for putting aside daughter's forgotten item! (Mgr even offered to post out).

Couldn't have been a more suitable position with me able to walk to most places of interest. Clean room with staff who couldn't have been more helpful. (Wifi was pretty useless but I believe that may have been Beechworth in general)

Owner/Manager was extremely rude and sarcastic.youd think covid 19 would make him appreciate the customers abit more. But with that attitude, I hope you get no customers at all.

Beechworth Carriage Motor Inn is three star, and I think that’s fair. The room was fine, with a firm bed and basic linens. We were happy to have air conditioning, as it got very hot during our two night stay. The first night there was a dog barking a bit, as the hotel is pet friendly, and I woke up often due to it. Then motorbikes started their engines early and left them running a while. The second night was quieter, but it seemed our AC didn’t work as well. The room and bathroom was clean enough, but not spotless. The reception has a cat called Mia who is charming. There is a small pool that kids might enjoy. Good location and made things in a Beechworth walking distance. Overall I’d say this is a practical and functional choice for a weekend getaway, as long as your not looking for romance or luxury.

Really nice place to stay that is really not expensive. Tv is large and more than enough for the stay. Spacious rooms and bathrooms. Beds could perhaps do with a more modern update.but everything was clean and comfortable. Short walk to the centre of town and towards the gin distillery end which is even better. Pool was quite small but great for kids. There was plenty of bird life around including rosellas and king parrots which stopped by to nibble on the plants and trees there. Staff were nice and friendly and it was dog friendly which is a HUUUGE bonus. We stayed with multiple friends over multiple rooms but unfortunetly we did stay in a room that had an adjoining door to the next room.wasn't a problem for most of the stay, but unfortunetly had a bad experience on 2 of the nights where the neighbors in the adjoining room decided to speak in bed until 3.30am in the morning both nights then wake up at 7am with the tv going both mornings. Wouldn't be a problem but for the adjoing door which made every sound made next door sound as though it was in our room, they wernt particuly being "noisey" but talking that loudly until that time was very odd and the sound just travelled straight through, thank God they left and the neighbours for our last night were fine. I would highly recommend not staying in room 24. Our friends who were in other rooms had no adjoining doors and had no noise problems at all. Besides that, the place was great, i would easily stay again but if told I would be in room 24 again, I wouldn't.
