Beeac Golf Club reviews
2 One of my favourite golf courses in the world. I grew up playing on the sand scrapes here and was fortunate to play rounds with the likes of Len Trigg and Ernie Hanlon, some of the original members of this course. The recent upgrade to greens has added to the challenge of golf here and it is maintained by a dedicated group of local volunteers, led by Keith Broomfield.
There are few tougher golf courses in the world when the wind is howling and the narrow fairways and post card greens reward only the most accurate of iron shots. I would definitely recommend you play 9 or 18 if you are in the local area and if you play in the competitions, then you will be welcomed with open arms and some great hospitality afterwards.
I can't wait to return and bring a few mates and make a day of it and then head off for a great meal at the Beeac Pub, one of the best places to eat for miles around.
Friendly locals and good fun. I shot a 37 for 9 holes, which l’m told is pretty good for this course, because the greens are sooooo small! Great that it has grass greens and not sand. Well done Beeac golf club.
