One of the best customer service experiences I have received. Very impressed with the the high level of product knowledge across the whole store from tiles to tapware. No question was left unanswered and more often than not, amazing alternate suggestions were given on my reno vision. The team went above and beyond to make my in store experience super easy and and an enjoyable time. Thank you to the team at Beaumont's Mentone

Super helpful staff, large range of tiles and growing range of bathroom accessories. Kind of handy to be next door to Reece as they carry different brands

Kitchen bench and cupboard samples in hand, looking through possible wall tiles. Waited for staff member to become free, she went back to the desk, chatted with the other staff member and totally ignored us. Won’t be going back, plenty of other tile shops. So much for Shayna’s free coffee!

Avoid this store at all costs
Rude staff and heavily over priced with fake discounts
Our tiles were delivered with a defect (2 mm bow in the middle) our tiler recommended we return them as this will be obvious on the end product.
Staff were bordering on aggressive and said to tell tiler to use more glue to cover it up.
Charged us 25% on original price to return wall tiles and wouldn't take back floor tiles because they didn't stock them anymore (?) throw in another $150.00 pick up fee to top it all off.
Pretty sure this is illegal but we just wanted to move on with our job and were tired of non returned phone calls and rude staff.
Don't bother replying head office (pretty sure its a bot) because we tried every avenue to contact you at the time and there was no reply to phone calls or emails.
We have since found smaller suppliers who accept returns for no charge, free delivery and are friendly and helpful, if this is what you require don't go to Beaumont tiles Mentone.

Great service up until there was a problem with the order - after sales service is shocking.

Christine was great to deal with at time of sale, helpful, friendly and responsive. We ordered all our tiles and our vanity through Beaumont Mentone for our bathroom and ensuite renovations.

We had to (obviously) move out for the duration of the renovations and when the builder hung the vanity unit and sent a photo, I realised that the vanity unit was not built to the specifications ordered (we paid extra for 4 drawers, the unit received had the standard 1 drawer).

I called Beaumont and spoke to the business owner Neil, who from the first interaction was rude, abrupt, abrasive and who spoke in a manner that was essentially blaming me for their supplier's mistake. I was told that they can either re-make the vanity to the specifications or offer me a $450 credit (on a $2700 vanity - no thank you). I told them to remake the vanity and was met with attitude - "well, I cant give you any estimate of when itll be ready" and "since the unit has already been attached to the wall, we will not pay the cost to install the correct vanity". I ended the call shortly after.about a month after that call (and mid-way through a kitchen renovation), and with zero contact from Beaumont, I was doing the morning school run and whilst driving I received a text from Christine (so I did not see it until I got home), that the vanity was ready and being delivered by Beaumont today. I called and asked Christine if she meant delivered to Beaumont and so I could organise a date for delivery. She advised me that no - it will be delivered within 30 mins from her text. Next thing I know, while I am trying to put my baby to bed, Neil is at my door telling me he needs to deliver the vanity. I told him I cannot accept the delivery as I had no space prepared (there was rain forecast and my garage and home were all packed due to the kitchen reno). His attitude was unbelievable. I told him I will call Christine to arrange a delivery time (with notice). They then had the audacity to try and charge me delivery to re-deliver the unit.

At no point did anyone apologise for my experience, I was only ever met with excuses that its not their stuff up - which I of course acknowledge - BUT - they are the face of this transaction for me. They need a serious crash course on after sales service. Neil should also not be customer facing.

This will be my first and last time using Beaumont, and I can guarantee I will be warning anyone I can about the experience I had.

EDIT - I emailed Beaumont a day after they responded to my review and surprise surprise, no one ever returned my email or phoned me to discuss my experience (I left my mobile number).

I can not express how impressed I am with the service I received at the Beaumont Tiles Mentone store. Both Carl and Kristen went above and beyond to make sure that I not only had the best tiles for my project but also the best price. They were kind, patient and really, really helpful. I would highly recommend this store for not only your tiling needs but also bathroom accessories as well, amongst other things. Well done Beaumont Tiles - you have excellent staff!

Kristen yet again absolutely nailed the brief.
Helped us organise samples, pick a suitable (and beautiful) colour scheme and fixtures aaaall the way down to flawless delivery today.
Couldn't be happier and thankfully won't need to look for another supplier for future renos.

After realising we had ordered the incorrect tiles she was able to stop the delivery to avoid us being held up or needing an additional delivery! Super friendly and positive outlook really calmed what could have been a very stressful situation.

Bought some Ardex grout, awesome service, gentleman having his lunch in the office, but stopped eating and still came out to meet my needs.really appreciated his dedication.

Stay away, horrible customer service, no knowledge of the products they sell, very rude staff, extremely overpriced and when there is a problem with the order due to their mistake they do not even want to discuss a refund.absolutely worst shopping experience of my life even 1 star is too much for this horrible business.

I have always been satisfied with doing business at this Beaumont tiles location compared to others. Well staffed, you don't need to wait too long to find someone to ask a question. They are normally stocked with supplies that I've needed.

Disappointed with service, no communication, correct colour of tile advice and not being able to supply samples. Would not contact again.

Disappointing aftercare having spent $1000's on Floor & Wall tiles along with a stone-to vanity and basin.

Before parting with money, the (now subsequently moved on) sales rep made repeated calls and SMS to complete the sale.
We were then pressured to pick up the vanity once they had it in stock.

After vanity was installed, a small fault was discovered in the stone-top. Having sourced a replacement elsewhere due to time constraints, we requested a refund. Because the stone top had been cut slightly to fit the space, which did fit the actual vanity, neither Beaumont or the stone top provider would take responsibility for the fault and refused to refund.
Certainly buyer beware with this store, zero aftercare once they have them money and no apparent effort to make you become a return customer or recommend to anyone else.

My advice is to check any item you purchase from them before you start a project.

My husband and I went into the store yesterday. There was a young guy who was very helpful. We were then assisted by an older woman with dark hair. Never have either of us had worse customer service. This woman was rude, condescending and only wanted to speak to one of us. I would have been horrified if one of my staff spoke to a customer in that manner. We just ended up leaving the store because we were so put off. It was a shame as the store was great and the other staff seemed friendly.

I had been looking for tiles for awhile and wished I had gone to Beaumont tiles earlier. Melinda was awesome and the team at Mentone were a great help. They sourced all of the items I needed really quickly, even with all the challenges impacting businesses through COVID restrictions. Their range, price and the advice was so good I ended up getting everything from tap ware, tiles, glue, grout, and even a new bath. Really appreciate the service and would recommend them to anyone. Melinda was fabulous, my husband and I were decided on the look we wanted to achieve, but Melinda locked it all in. We listened to her expert advice and was very confident with the choices we made. Melinda helped with the whole house interior colours, facade, flooring etc and helped bring it all together. She was fantastic and made it so easy! She was energetic and passionate about what she does, which we loved! Every Beaumont needs a Melinda, she made our appointment fun, she was direct which helped us heaps! We prefer honesty and no time wasting. The layout of the store was great and was organised into pricing categories all so. (Red, silver, gold etc)

I am so glad I called Beaumont Tiles to help with my bathroom Reno. Tarli took me through the whole process of choosing everything I needed, and made sure I didn’t forget things like the plugs, wastes and tile grout. It was particularly handy to talk on the phone when we weren’t allowed to go in store, it could only have been better if I’d been allowed to do it all in store. Took so much stress out of the process, and made it easier to buy EVERYTHING from one place with a very competitive price tag. We have a large scale renovation to complete as owner builders.it was stressful! Melinda allowed us to be involved with colour preference and layout but used her design knowledge to give us exceptional knowledge, service and most importantly she kept our budget at the forefront of her design. Melinda was easy to contact, fun to chat to and overall lovely to deal with.
