Beaumaris Secondary College reviews
13Took my daughter to the Careers Expo on Friday the 5th May. Was absolutely appalled with the way this school walked through when exiting. They were extremely disgraceful as they pushed their way through to get to the bus, careless of other schools and parents like me taking their children. Absolutely unacceptable.
Fantastic school, cannot thank the amazing staff enough for helping my daughter, escpecially the welfare team.
I am a year 9 student here currently, and please let me tell you that if you're not straight, white or abled, don't come here. All the students are so mean. I have been horrendously bullied at this school and they have done NOTHING about it
Despite the technologically advanced touchscreen laptop setups, projectors and MCC large screens for teachers and students on the frontend. The IT department backend setup has a lacklustre performance: - (For starters they are running an old Sophos firewall unit and they have no backup firewall solution with alternate proxy setup at all! They could easily use PFSense firewall for free. Also the school IT department have no dedicated WSUS Windows Update server either, so all the Windows updates are throttled through out the day until about 3: 30 PM. Finally they should discourage students from purchasing and bringing their own personal tablets/laptops and only recommend purchased devices through the school web portal. This way it would create a cohesive setup especially when you integrate the laptop/tablet devices using MS Intune.
The teacher gave me their kidney stone and then asked if i wanted some special brownies.and i was like yummy in my tummy with the kidney stone with my embolism cone.
This school should be ashamed of it's plan to destroy the long hollow heathland, to build more ugly and useless ovals to try and one up the surrounding schools.
BSC is the newest school in Victoria, with hands down the best building facilities, better sports ovals and outdoor spaces than most independent schools. It has a potential to grow into better school than McKinnon, and it beats every other public school in Bayside on almost every level. The teachers are mostly excellent, but students are a mixed bag - many kids excel at BSC but there's little barrier to entry other than zoning for troubled kids (hence many of the nonsensical reviews here).
I worked there as a CRT. The staff were very supportive. The facilities are new and the designs incorporate innotive layouts. A multi storey complex with a large oval. The students are generally respectful and made me feel appreciated.
Great new school, good facilities. My son does his basketball training here. He doesn't study here, so can't comment further
Great school, great teachers and everyone is nice and will help if asked for it, please consider!
Pretty good teachers and classrooms and the sporting facilities maintained by the MCC are really nice and high quality.
This school looks as if it has the potential to be something game changing.if they would just change the entire facility to a woodlot and made all of their short students do some manual labour.the world would be such a better place.also hubby got a dumpy.
Beaumaris Secondary is one of the best schools, The education here is hands down one of the best (almost as good as a private school)!
The teachers are sensational and they are close to the students, friendly and firm but also fair.
There are rules here which are to be followed and I like that as a parent.
They offer a large range of different facilities, excursions, lessons, subjects.
The Principal and the office ladies are some of the best I have met.
Unfortunately we have moved and therefore will move schools but we will miss the students, teachers, friendly staff and family orientated School.
Warm Regards
