Covid control of any kind totally missing. Observed two service staff not wearing masks, one customer not wearing mask and holding a dirty used handerkerchief to his mouth. Numerous customers did not check in. I left without purchasing after watching this for 30 minutes from my car.

Great chips, South Melbourne market dim sims, salads and chicken. The only downside is they close as soon as they sell out of chickens for the day so you have to get in early.

I'm new to the area, and super happy to have finally found my go-to charcoal chicken store. Service was with a smile! They have a good selection of salads. Looks so good! The chips were crunchy and not soggy at all unlike most chicken places which don't care about the chips. Will definitely be back. Thanks guys!?

Why are you only taking cash. You’re wasting my time in line just so you can illegally pay less tax every year. You’re probably the only store I know in Melbourne that only takes cash.

The chicken was nice but chips were way over salted and almost inedible. Also, these days a "cash only" policy is just ridiculous.

Just had charcoal chicken n salad ordered. And until we were going to pay at the cashier the arrogant workers didn’t tell us it’s cash only. I asked them for their business registration n they got very angry started taking details of my work van. The sheer arrogance n dumbness is priceless. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

They lack adequate customer service and have an abrasive manner when "serving" you. On top of that, they only take cash payments.get with the future, and offer the ability for people to tap & go! Do yourself a favour and go to Charmen Chicken, in Cheltenham - they're much more friendly.

This place is awesome! Staff are friendly and efficient and the food is second to none. Amazing salads, chips and of course chicken. We will definitely be going back again

To set the scene, I'm a tradie and charcoal chicken is very much a go to with us lot! But the quality of the chicken and salads were by far some of the best I've had. Very efficient staff (maybe an owner as well) made sure we were served and on our way quite quickly. Well done!
