Devine coffee. Friendly service! Definitely going to b a reoccurring customer. Love having this basically at my doorstep. What a great addition to reservoir.

I used to date a Dutch woman who was pretty great except we had a strange falling out over an industrial train accident/disaster in the US. One upside to that short and tumultuous relationship was that she introduced me to Beat Coffee bagels and so my relationship with their food is both primal and whimsically bittersweet.
I cannot overstate the importance that their Supreme Pastrami Bagel holds in my mental and physical wellbeing. It's like if the best pastrami you ever had in your life married a warm hug to the sound of a deep wholesome oboe drifting on a fresh morning breeze along the steppes of Mt. Matterhorn when the earth was still young. The lettuce and cream cheese are the mighty swelling chorus that ties it all together. I ate two once and I am going to always tell my fictional grandkids about that day.
Their coffee is great too - my only real misgiving is that I'm a quantity AND quality guy so a larger take away cup size would answer all my quesrions about life. Perhaps that's the most important thing though, that there is always a tension between perfection and beauty and they are not always the same thing. 10/10

I love Beat. So welcoming, beautiful people, delicious coffee and bagels. I love buying their beans, a sip in coffee or quick bite. All hail the Vegan Peanut Butter Chocolate cookie!

Moved here from Sydney 2 weeks ago into Reservoir, this easily is the best coffee around, I felt welcomed from when I walked through the door, service. Everything I wanted in a coffee shop and within walking distance from my house. Some of the other cafes in Reservoir should take note on service and greeting a guest, it makes a world of difference which is why I appreciated the warm welcome when I came in here. The good reviews reflect how good of a venue this is. Coffee + cookie a great combination

Had my first visit today, coffee was excellent!
Had a nice selection if gluten free baked treats, so I was able to grab something to share with my housemate.
Will definitely be back.

The staff here are amazing, I have never had a bad experience. The coffee is great and I love that you can also purchase beans for coffee at home. Bagels are yum and the outdoor dining area is dog friendly.

Sure, here's tThe cafe has a great design and a cool atmosphere, with friendly staff. It's located in a quiet area, making it a sort of family cafe with a modern style. However, it's a bit far from urban roads, so you need some extra time to get there. The coffee is good, but a larger cup size would be appreciated! ;)

The Beat Coffee HQ is located at the local small shops area.
Very fresh beautiful fruity coffee, med-full strength,
medium amount of acidity and fresh after taste.
I had a long black and was sour after cool down.
It would be perfect to drink with milk

My partner and i have been travelling to CBCB for the last 9 months for their nitro cold brew. I wish i knew about this location sooner, so much closer to home.
Delicious nitro and espresso! Will be back.

Love everything about Beat! The bagels are delishhh, the cozy vibes and the friendly staff. I'm actually not a coffee drinker (I know, how un-Melbourne of me!) but I hear that is amazing too

Great place, friendly staff and awesome coffee. Were kind enough to serve us yesterday even though we turned up right on closing time. Bought a bag of coffee beans which I love as well.

Great service. Awesome coffee!
First time trying out local roasters, and the service was nice. Guided me through the range of products that they have.
I took home, a bag of beans that they use for in-house brewing, which was perfect for the espresso machine I own.

I was taken to Beat by a colleague and it's my sneaky hideaway now. The coffee is superb and the bagels are bliss - highly recommend the hummus or the beetroot as my two favourites!
