Recommended by a stranger on the street, and did not disappoint! The staff were enthusiastic, patient and helpful, and the scones, apple crumble tart and smoothies we had were delightful - couldn’t have finished them quicker. We’re from out of town, but know exactly where to stop by when we’re in the area again:)

Coffee is (subjective) is better than average. Food is reasonably priced & well presented. Also better than average fare.

I wandered in yesterday for brunch with my 4 year old granddaughter. We received such a warm welcome, great food, great coffee/baby chino. The staff were very friendly and clearly love what they do. From a non local, self appointed cafe expert, 10/10. I will be back. Thank you

Brilliant Cafe with great coffee and plenty of gluten free options including awesome gluten free scones! Yummmm!

Honestly this one of the best places to eat food at and have a nice coffee with, it has great atmosphere if you like noisey places and the food is all made there AND the coffee roasted at the place whitch is a big thing in my opinion.

It's overall fanatic to be at.

OMG! The best beef and cheese burger in town. Add bacon and egg, you're taste buds will thank you. 2 thumbs up

Cold chai latte served in a chipped mug. Bruschetta on one small slice of toast for $14 overpriced. So cold inside that even staff are wearing overcoat and hat.

Awesome little Cafe! Really nice staff, great Coffee and an Eggs Benny cooked to perfection.

Folks has friendly staff, great coffee and a good vibe. We have had breakfast and lunch here previously all delicious and their desserts are fabulous and fresh too.

Good food but service was slow. Took 25 mins just for toast, by which time the omelette was cold. When I say toast, they give you little bites of toast instead of a slice!

Unfortunately I do need to knock off one star due to one hiccup. When I was ordering, I emphasised twice that I wanted my smashed avo vegan (the cashier said "of couse") and yet it still came out with egg and cheese on it. The waiter was able to fix this mistake easily but it was still a little irritating.

Other than that, it was a great experience and one of the better eateries in town.

Lovely place for breakfast or lunch. A really good atmosphere and friendly staff. The food is perfectly proportioned. Their coffe is perfect. Never bitter or burnt. I come here often and will keep coming back.

I used to like coffee in this place. I tired it again after few years but was not as good as before!

Super lovely service - coffee is always perfect, made well and always quickly! Food is pretty good. I've tried a few different things on the menu, and it's usually quite tasty. Compared to inner city Melbourne cafes, it's not the same standard, but a good effort.

What a really good find in the 'thaggi. Warm and welcoming on a chilly day, plentiful seating and very efficient but friendly and helpful service. Good explanations of produce for a first time visitor. All this is highlighted by great, house roasted coffee and a variety of tasty treats. Not a huge menu, but plenty of variety for many different dietary needs. This will become a new regular for me.

I don't buy coffee out as I prefer to make it at home using my own machine but these guys are my local roasters and I only use their beans. So glad we have an awesome roaster in Wonthaggi. Just need a Folks in Invy.

Consistently good coffee and food. The bacon Sanger a bit to addictive! Friendly team and very fair prices. Good ground coffee is well.
