Beacon Lighting Abbotsford

Ordered a lamp online, unfortunately it arrived faulty. Customer service online were lovely about it (hence 2 stars) and said to drop it off in Abbotsford store.

Just went there and the lady serving in Abbotsford store was awful - so my positive experience of beacon lighting was ruined. It’s not my fault the product is faulty - maybe don’t work in customer service if you don’t like serving customers

I had a great experience with Kathy, a lighting designer who took me through the shop in my first visit to the store, getting items that weren’t on display to help me with my vision. She then further assisted me & my partner today, patiently answering all of our questions before we made our purchase. Lighting can be daunting but Kathy made it a fun and easy experience.

Outstanding customer service from store manager Brody - excellent product knowledge across the board and extremely helpful advice on “what works” with different design approaches. Made hard decisions easy to make. Also good customer parking on site.

I shopped at Beacon Lighting this morning again and I was greeted by the most helpful and friendly staff. The young man and lady (who has helped me before) gave great customer service.
Nothing is too much trouble. Keep up the great work and I will surely be back.

Helpful, the item I was looking for not stocked by Beacon. Help with alternatives non of which I took. Went around the corner to another business and saved myself around $15.

The staff are friendly and super helpful. I was looking for some old types of LED downlight to match my existing ones, which were out of production for a while, Anthon went above and beyond to search them for me at the back of storeroom. I was extremely grateful when he found them. Excellent customer service and experience. Highly recommended.

I was disappointed. They did not have the range of desk and floor lamps as before. What there was, was expensive regardless the sale.

Very good range of product, very helpful and knowledgeable staff that were able to provide some great advice, definitely not just a random crew of sales people. They also have under cover customer parking around the back.

Big store full of pretty crappy products and say so customer service. We weren't expecting to have already replaced light fittings after buying all our lights for a big renovation here less than 8 years ago.

Very good local light shop. The staff have always been very helpful. Very good selection of lights and bulbs.

Bad customer service. Paid a deposit over the phone to order light globes and was told they would arrive in 2-3 days. Waited 2 weeks and heard nothing. Called them, and was served by a rude lady who wouldn't apologise. However, was called back by another staff, who offered to post them to us when they arrive. So fingers crossed.

Lovely selection of lights, and if the two staff chatting behind the count bothered to speak with us (another one was with other customers) we may even have purchased some! Appalling lack of customer service
