Beachcomber Holiday Units

A recent 5 night stay at Beachcomer was a place where you could have a wonderful rest in a beautifual spotlessly clean unit so close to everything. The welcome we received was greatly appreciated and we have no hesitation in recommending Beachcomer to anyone who wants to stay in beautiful Lakes Entrance.

Perfect spot, so central and close to the beach. You can walk everywhere! We loved our apartment and everything was super clean. Very attentive and friendly service. Great extras, like the convenient outdoor electricity outlets for EV-charging. Definitely will rebook for you next stay in Lakes Entrance.

I have just spent the last weekend in Lakes at the Beachcomber Holiday Units and couldn't have picked a better place to stay.
The units are beautifully fitted out and are situated around a secure, lovely garden courtyard, just off the main street. I thought there might have been a bit more passing traffic & pedestrian noise, but it was very quiet and peaceful.
I arrived a little early, but it was no trouble for Marty & Rebecca to get my unit ready ahead of the original booking time.
There were cafe's and restaurants very close at hand that Marty recommended to me and his advice turned out to be spot on in terms of dining out.
Will definitely be returning to stay there again sometime in the near future.

We stayed in July 2023. Beautiful accommodation in fantastic location. The unit was well above expectation, being the cleanest and best presented accommodation I’ve stayed in. We even booked an extra night as we didn't want to go home. It has all the amenities you could need and was within walking distance to everything, no need to use your car once we arrived. The owners were amazing, super friendly and accommodating. Our children keep asking when we will be back and we will definitely be booking another holiday with Beachcomber. Thank you for a memorable stay!

Great units, very clean, well appointed and in a good location. Nice common BBQ area to cook up your dinner.

Marty is an excellent host, very attentive to your needs. He had some excellent advice on places to visit. The best was to go to Raymond Island at Paynesville to spot koalas in the wild. We saw 18!

Lovely place with just a few cabins that are very well maintained. It close to the beach and the town while being very quiet.
We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed much more!
It is family owned by great people that hosted us like family!
We'll definitely book it next time in town.

We had a lovely stay. The appartement was almost new (or renovated) and very clean. The location is perfect, it's just in front of the bridge to go to the beach but back enough so it's not in front of the road.
The host was fantastic, he gave us some advice on what to visit and even lend me his phone to make a reservation to the Buchan Cave because it was not working with my international number.

Quick response with check-in details and friendly welcome. Lovely clean and modern units with all the basics that you would need to cook and clean. Great shower, firm but comfy bed, good off-street parking and walking distance to shops and beach.
No complaints, just really lovely units.

This place is fantastic and THE cleanest accommodation that I have ever experienced!
Each of the 5 chalet style units are so beautifully renovated and are extremely comfortable, contemporary and with great self catering facilities.
There is no seafood prep or cooking in the units (so the units don’t take on the odour) but there is a great bbq area that has a large commercial stove /oven as well as a fridge and freezer that can be used.
The chalets are across the road from the water but set well back from the road so are very quiet. A short walk to eateries and bars and tourist attractions.
Have stayed in Lakes Entrance previously and no accommodation has gone close to this.
Owners live on site and are a wealth of information on what to do during your stay! Marty was very welcoming and gave us some great suggestions of things to see and do around the area.
The pride that the owners, Rebecca and Marty take in maintaining this accommodation is clearly evident. Can’t recommend highly enough!

We had a great time this is our second stay and we love it for the rooms, great service by the hosts. Location is fantastic for fishing, eating & walking around. Highly recommend we will be back. Thanks for a great stay.

We're almost ancient, certainly retired. Stayed for 1 week. A direct owner-operator contact with Marty and Bec; wonderful warm, friendly and interested hosts. Meticulous attention to detail. Our unit was impeccably clean, well-maintained. Beachcomber's location is central, within easy walking distance of facilities and Estuary. A perfect base for forays elsewhere. Absolutely no complaints.

Fantastic location, brilliant unit with all amenities & beautiful decor. Cleanliness was A1! Rebecca & Marty were awesome, very friendly & hospitable. We will definitely be back.

Excellent location and service. Lacking enough cooking utensils. Missing an oven and a dishwasher. Units are well maintained and well ventilated.

Bec was fantastic. Communication is spot on. I had completed the booking through their website. Cleanliness and ambiance of the room was fabulous.

You'll get 10% discount on the Lakes Entrance Segway rides if you stay at this place.

Make sure you adhere to the checkout time policy. Extension of even 10-15 minutes was not granted.

Will come back and stay for sure.

A warm welcome by Matilda. The unit was very comfortable, clean and stylish. The thoughtful extras and the comfortable outdoor living with a comfortable couch and table setting was just great. And the beautiful beach only just across the road.

Wonderful stay, perfect location! We will be back. Units had everything you need for a comfy stay. Walking distance to everything. Car parks are spacious. Hosts were really accommodating. Unit was clean and modern. Highly recommend.

Cannot say anything bad about this place. I have stayed here four years running and it has only got better and better as the years roll on. Rebecca and Marty are the best hosts and will look after your every need.

The location of the premises is A1, perfectly situated for you to enjoy all of the sights and sounds of the Entrance. Cannot recommend this place any higher than I have.

I stayed at Beachcomber with some mates - it is very affordable, yet the rooms are brand new and super clean. There is also a communal bbq and some games to play with friends and family.

Marty and Rebecca were super hospitable and friendly, giving us good recommendations and making the whole experience a super memorable one.

Would highly recommend to couples, small groups, and families visiting Lakes Entrance.

Beautiful accomodation with super cleaned and comfy environment, we stayed for a night only but honestly didn’t want to leave this early.
Also the hosts are the nicest! Really enjoyed our stay, would like to come back someday:) 5/5
