Beach Cafe Seaford

Been here a few times now and have enjoyed every meal. Coffee is fantastic and staff are very accommodating. I can't believe a lot of the reviews on here about rude staff, they must be hard to please, bored people.

Love coming here. Beautiful outlook to the beach. Warm and cozy on a cold Winter’s day. Waitress was lovely. Very quick service. Excellent coffee. Love the toasted fruit bread for a quick snack. Very generous serve of 2 large slices.

As a regular brunch place explorer, I can confirm that this was the worst brunch experience in VIC. Everyone was super grumpy and rude for some reason. The food was nothing special. Coffee was meh.

Cool little cafe right in the beach. Definitely a hidden little gem. Coffee was decent and have some nice cakes. Will be back to try more on the menu

Gorgeous cafe in an amazing location. Great views of the water and pier while dining. It was a lovely sunny day on the weekend so there were many people about enjoying Seaford beach. 1st waitress who took our order was very friendly.

The food here is amazing, as is the service. Great place to sit outside, watch the water and catch up with an old friend.

Front of house staff were very rude.

We were a group of 3 that arrived that asked for a table for 6, as we had others joining us. Within 10 minutes, without a waiter evening attending to us or receiving table water, we had the same front of house staff member ask "How long the others would be", implying she was trting to get us off the outdoor table.

Since she prides herself on asking people "who were first", she should maybe practise what she preaches.

A warm and friendly place to relax. Food is fresh and nicely plated. Open daily except Wednesday during the colder months.

I asked if I could order coffee for take away the rude staff member pointed me to the coffee machine to show me all their orders to imply it will take a long time.

Very unprofessional If you’re too busy politely say you’re not doing take away.

Learn some customer service etiquette

My partner and i visited this morning for brunch and were greeted with wonderfull service from our waitress and owner as well. Food was terrific with my partner raving about the cooked tomatoes and mushrooms. Crispy bacon and well cooked scrambled eggs made for a lovely brunch, will be back.

Wowser, we couldn't believe how disgustingly rude a staff member with shoulder length dark curly hair was. I have NEVER encountered such a disturbed rude human.

My children, niece and nephew witnessed her abrupt sickening behaviour from telling us to move stuff so she could fit the food we ordered to telling us this is a table of 4 (there were 6 of us) yet she's the one that gave us that table to telling us she's not taking any orders when I asked for a drink.

Never will we ever go there again and never will we refer that Cafe to anyone.
The chefs food was delicious and other waitresses were kind but it's just a pity they found that scumbag of a lady to ruin their business.
I hope you seek medical help cause you seem very disturbed.
1 star for food and a big fat zero for her.

Grossly overpriced. Understaffed? Well at those prices, you can afford to raise wages and secure a good workforce.

This is a pleasant cafe with a beautiful view right across to Melbourne. The service is great and the battered flathead tails are done to perfection. Their cake range is amazing. Our favourite all round go to cafe. The owner and his staff are very friendly and efficient.

Perfect location and menu ok. While the food and service are good I do find the lunch menu a bit boring. Despite this I love eating here and do recommend.

We had breakfast at the Cafe for the first time recently. We sat outside and the view is amazing but sadly the poached eggs were watery and the bacon was barely cooked.

Love the view from the terrace table - turquoise water colour, especially in a sunny day. Tasty food, big portions. Coffee is okay. Want to come back to enjoy experience again

Chinese staff just cold eyes looked at my whole family to ask where you wanna sit, seems they don't like that you went to beach before them, fair, but have a sign ok?

Right on the beach, location trumps the food which is OK. Visited again in Feb 2022, top location & good coffee.

Disappointing, had eggs Benny with Bacon. Eggs were obviously not allowed to dry off and ended up making the muffins wet (gross) Asked for crispy bacon, it came out deep fried (again, gross). The bacon was mostly inedible due to being tough as leather, hollandaise sauce wasn't nice either. However, service and coffee were great, So 2 Stars for that. Unfortunately I won't be back due to underwhelming food, and menu overall.

The location had a good view but the food was average. Long waiting times to have someone take your order.

Had a strawberry smoothie which could use some ice. The one I received was at room temperature.

The fried calamari were on top of a wet rocket salad which made the fried calamari soggy. And the warmth of the fried food made the rocket leaves warm and half cooked. Would have been nice to have the rockets as a cold salad and calamari crispier.

The burger was juicing out liquid making a mess to eat it. However, the staff was friendly and nice.
