This place is a hidden gem. There is so much to see and experience. The food is as you expect, good, the staff are lovely and the atmosphere is relaxed,

We’ve been here many times to dine in and get takeaways.
There seems to have been an ownership change of direction or a massive staff change.
It took over 30 minutes (no exaggeration here) to get two small flat white coffees to go. Even after that long it appears they forgot it was a coffee order as they must have well and truely skimped on the coffee.
Sadly this will be the last straw of trying to support this local.

Small bowl of salad with few pieces of taste free & over-fried calamari on a bed of supermarket salad mix with a sprinkling of pomegranate seeds is $26. Not exactly on the beach - cafe faces Carrum train station.
More seating at the back area which is looks like a lean to shed. Coffee is ok. Kid friendly with books & toys to occupy them. Credit card surcharge.

Would not recommend meal really average and service less than average. Would not recommend. Also no consideration for residence in surrounding streets with late night bands and police having to be continuously called. Inconsiderate owners!

Wonderful atmosphere, extremely kid friendly. All staff made us feel welcome and were very helpful. My girls loved playing board games while waiting for our order.

Disappointing and expensive breakfast with a long wait! Came here today on a public holiday with my girlfriend for breakfast. We were seated without menus and no sign of a waiter to take our order. We eventually ordered via the QR code which was an inconvenience. It took 40min to receive one flat white and I then had to then request my $9 juice (which I thought was fresh juice but wasn’t) I also had to request a teaspoon for my coffee and noticed everyone around me who received their coffee also had to request a teaspoon. We asked two times if our food was on its way as we were over waiting and happy to cancel. As we went to get up to leave we were told our breakfast was being platted up. 5 min later our breakfast arrived and our waiter told us he would be back with cutlery and serviettes, he never returned. Customer service and attention to detail must be improved especially when you are paying over $5 for a public holiday surcharge on top of your food. One Breakfast and a juice cost me $44 which I think is very overpriced for a mediocre breakfast and terrible service.

Great place for a bite and coffee while heading to Carrum Beach to walk the dogs.

Great staff, love the Almond Dirty Chai, BLT and that there is indoor / outdoor seating and dog friendly.

Parking at rear on site or in street.

Don’t get any of the happy hour cocktails. They are sugar water drinks with some colour die. When we asked the staff to change to drinks with something else because they are undrinkable, their reply was “you can order new drinks”. We cannot replace your drinks because we’ll lose money. I never heard this reply in my life. Absolute zero customer awareness! Make sure you get your tetanus shots!

Absolute garbage of a restaurant! Extremely poor service. We ordered 2 x cocktails and had a few sips and there was no alcohol at all. It was all sugar and cordial. When we kindly asked if they could replace with a glass of wine which was a lot cheaper than a cocktail the lady was extremely rude and wanted us to purchase the wine and walked away. Food was very average too. Would never step in here again and would not recommend

Was here for brunch today. Loved the food. Amazing calamari salad (in one of my pictures)! Friendly staff. Clean bathrooms as well. They have lots of events happening, it seemed. Will sync with their calendar the next time we are there. Thanks for a wonderful brunch, Beach Bar!

The breakfast we had for brunch was really delicious and healthy we also had nice milkshakes for a treat. They served breakfast menu until 2 which was great for a brunch. We really enjoyed our food.

The beer garden is a fun place to be when Warren Smiths band is in town, close to beach, bike paths and the train station.

Wow, great stuff. Went this morning and was very impressed by the size and quality of the portions- highly recommend it! Fast service too! Amazing!

Thank you to Mati for helping us jumpstart a bike today after a lovely lunch at Beach Bar Carrum. All the staff at Beach Bar were so friendly and accommodating to our group of 10 ladies on motorbikes. Thanks again for an excellent experience. The food was fantastic too!

Long weekend we went for a drive and came across Beach Bar again - great. We had lunch I had a vegan burger which was full of veggies which I love and my husband had Southern fried chicken burger we both ate heartily forgot too there chips with aioli and tomato sauce. Coffee very nice too. Staff were very friendly and looked after us very well.

I visit the Beach Bar regularly. Lovely staff, relaxed vibes and good food! Today we hired kayaks from the beach bar and finished with lovely coffees. We love coming on a Sunday arvo for happy hour sitting in the shade with the lovely sea breeze. Definitely recommend for a casual meal or a drink.
