BCF (Boating Camping Fishing) Box Hill

Some JUNKIE slapped my new fish shoes out of my hands in the parking lot.he smacked me in the mouth with them.the little fella then proceeded to tell me that he was arresting me.when i asked why he said i looked 'fishy'. What a clown.hopefully bcf can get me the Bream fish flip flops for free, as mine now have mud on them and are torn in half.also this hooligan danced to the song 'fishy on me' while doing the floss.their are no fishys on me feet though. Bob, if your reading this, i shall find you and tickle your phalanges.be warned

One of my go to shops for my fishing gear. Cam was very helpful with advice on which lightweight fishing rod to buy. I’m loving my Shimano Raider. Shimano reliability and the classic style fisho cork grips. Very light and sensitive. Great choice, well done Cam and the team.

Considering the size of this store they have a great range with almost everything you’d need. The guys that work there are great too and go to lengths to make sure you get what you need

Lovely service, friendly lady behind the counter greeted me with gusto on entry. Had what I needed with a straight forward layout. Would go back again

Unhelpful and complete lack of customer service. Came In with a warranty issue and a staff member confirmed there was a fault. I was told the the account I used for this purchase did not have the receipt attached to it which is not true as I created the account at the time of purchase. The staff member told me he could see when the item was purchased on his system and I had a zip pay record of when it was purchased and for the amount which matches on there system. I left the item there and was told management would call me the next day (no call received). I called them 3 days later to investigate what was happening. I was told that I could not get an exchange because the store might not get paid from there supplier.

Even with proof of purchase I was denied an exchange or refund for a faulty product.
Completely unhelpful and unprofessional management. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Great place. Went and bought a inflatable boat and staff were awesome. A special thanks to Zack who went above a beyond and helped me take the 50Kg inflatable to the car and help me load it. Exceptional customer service. Best shopping experience on a long time.

One of the attachments on my XTM compressor broke so I went to BCF in Box Hill looking for a replacement part. They didn't have the spare part but offered to replace the entire product since it's still under warranty. I didn't expect an entire new product because of a small fault so I was extremely happy with the service. It was all handled quickly on the spot as well.

Had Can serve me and my mum for a pair of sunnies. He was extremely helpful and professional and would recommend him for anyone who needs help in anything. Good work Cam

Sold me a velour inflatable mattress that stayed inflated for about two hours. Subsequently slept on the ground for three nights. Absolutely shameful they are selling cheap garbage products.

I had a very frustrating situation with the new reel I purchased from BCF and the squid jigs which were also bought at this store.

My fishing experience was destroyed after I lost 3 squid jigs trying to cast out the jigs off the pier, the reel kept on locking the bail into place halfway through the cast and I just watched my jig fall off into the water!

The blessing was being assisted by Richard at the store here in BCF. He was extremely helpful and left me in a very happy mood at the end of my visit. Thank you very much for this BCF store helping me to get back to my much loved fishing experience.

First time shopping at BCF. Went into the Box Hill store last weekend looking for a fridge freezer and a gazebo. Fridge was not in stock but Zac who served me arranged to get one in. Received a call less than a week later to say it had arrived. Picked it up this morning and was served by a awesome young woman. She was polite and friendly and the entire experience was 5 star. I’ll be back:)

Visited the store after speaking with an useful lady. It’s a gift for my brother, so i would buy the one he loves, a Shimano stella swc 8000HG.unfortunately, it was out of stock. However, Richard solved the problem. He made couple calls to other stores, compared the price and made sure the most convenient delivery method for my situation. Although he couldn’t offer me a better price than the club member’s one, i really appreciate his effort. I have no clue why my brother wants a HG spinning reel only, not a PG one which was in stock. Richard explained to me.no doubt, he is an expert as what it says on his name tag:) Thanks so much for your help Richard and Team.
