BCF (Boating Camping Fishing) Warrnambool

It would have been a much better experience except for the very rude staff member with the dreadlocks who looked right at me from a meter away when I was asking for assistance finding something, and then he turned away and walked off while I was mid sentence. I said loudly "or you can just walk off, I guess. " He turned his head and looked at me again and kept walking off. So I decided he was just a flog and went and found another staff member who was lovely and helped to the best of their ability. The other staff members I interacted with were also great, just one bad one.

7 months pregnant and drove an hour off course to refill camp gas cylinder, got to store but because there were only 2 staff working they refused to help… pretty slack customer service given the circumstances. I offered to wait around until there were no other customers or wait closer to closing time but they weren’t interested in helping and told me to come back another day. Pretty unAustralian…especially for a small town, short-staffed or not.

Walked around the shop for nearly 15 minutes. Staff walked past me didn't ask if l needed assistance which is very sad because I have to go and buy this stuff all online.

The best customer service I have had in while. My kids really appreciated the colouring in area.

Could have a larger boating range.

Good store, busy as on the Saturday of Easter. Some good deals and prices. Bfc club members, get some good deals too.

I always stop into BCF when I'm in Warnambool, great selection of products friendly staff and I always find a bargain.

Well set up. Huge range. Team looked tired after the Christmas rush but served and offered advice like stars. Well done

Unfortunately they didn't have any bait that was needed. No Burley, Pippies, or even Beach Worms.
I haven't been to many BCF's, so I cannot comment that it is not like other BCF's, but there wasn't alot of signage either.

Stop talking to the public so I can show you my covid 19 green certificate for goodness sake it was mean to be a check in station and your store seem to be very cluttered.

Ordered a click & collect order a few weeks ago for a Christmas present. Received no communication on my order. I had to ring up to ask where it was. Turns out there was none in stock but no one had bothered to contact me to tell me. I asked if there was any in stock in another store and there was (in Geelong). I contacted the Geelong store myself as the Warrnambool staff didn't offer any support as they said they were "too busy". The Geelong store had some in stock but I just needed the Warrnambool store to transfer the order for me. I rang the Warrnambool store again to get my order transferred which they said they would get done. When I went to collect my order in Geelong they said my order hadn't been transferred. I just ended up getting a refund on my order as this simple click and collect order turned out to be a whole saga due to poor communication and work ethic by the Warrnambool store.

Have a wide range of your outdoor needs. Went there to purchase flippers. Helpful staff. You can become a member to get further discounts,

Best group of staff I have ever come across. Couldn't be more helpful and knowledgeable. I wish they would ship some of you to the Adelaide stores, they could learn a thing or two. I might return to Warrnambool just to goto their BCF. It's worth the 450km drive.

Great customer service. They covered for a mistake caused by the staff of a different BCF store. Helpful and understanding.

The guys at our local BCF are awesome.the kids got a Zooper dooper from the Waco and tryed a lot of the camping gear.ill make campers out of the boys with help like that.thanks guys.

Normal range for a BCF. Local fishing information on a blackboard out the front was a good touch.

We had one of the best service you could ask for. We called into buy sides for our caravan awning and the guys at Warrnambool BCF couldn't help us enough. When we left we thought we had forgotten to buy clips and I called them and because they were unsure they opened a packet and investigated for us so we didn't have to turn around. Nice to see good old fashion service. Thanks Guys.

I commended the staff member who served me today hopping a manager or someone was also listening but l have to say that all the saff were absolutely excellent l really mean that.l was greeted at the door even thou both members were serving and l was really helped with what l was looking for. Some other retailers of Warrnambool should take notes. THANK YOU GUYS
