Rubbish customer service not helpful at all tried to tell me there closed while I’m in the store 30mins before close

My first ever experience with this store is a shamble.
I recently order and purchased a 10p Coleman tent online (it was a clearance sale) and called in store the next day to ensure they prepare the product before i pick up. To my surprise, when i called in the store manager said to me "it was out of stock"! But i said it was advertised as available stock and the purchased transaction approved and i also received a confirmation text message for collection.i asked her why and she said it was the computer error, but i said the advertise for this special is still on? Anway, they offer no alternative product and even an apology!
i thought this was misleading and that they might use this advertised as a tactic to draw in customers.
I will never buy any more product in this store in future.

The staff at the Epping store are just awesome! I needed to swap a mattress to a smaller one, originally purchased from another store. Nothing was a problem and they were super helpful and friendly!

Helpful team, can't remember the name but one fellow is very experienced murray cod fisher and had great feedback on lure choices.

Very unprofessional & terribly spoken staff.

Staff inconvenienced and unaware of basic how to carry out basic stock enquiries.

Do not trust stock levels on website either.

Poorly managed with R O B full of excuses.
Understaffed, unprofessional and tbh a very rude manager who for someone of his age he needs to be educated in customer service.

Preston way better.

"2 hour click & collect", yeah is that why over a day later I'm still waiting for a ready to collect email, and now says the item isn't in stock at this store. Also, staff don't know how to answer the phone.

It's a great place to find what you may need for your next camping or fishing trip some prices are a bit rich but not too bad with others

Easy to spend hours there with their products. Great prices and great knowledge from their friendly staff. Keep it up guys

Like the place don't know if the staff member who served me was new, but wasn't much help, ended up going elsewhere

The young John resolved my problem with my loved stealth reel savage. He try all possible to find the same model I need and replace my damage one. I'm very lucky to find people like John dedicated and really friendly. Thanks John.

Young lass was so helpful, while the others wouldn't move from the counter because their social conversation was more important than a paying customer, if the lass didn't come out and find the anchor I was after I would have left and bought online

Popped into the store to pick up a kayak anchor but had none in stock. Asked one of the staff members for assistance and he was beyond helpful! He searched high and low for the product like a frantic morning search for car keys! I don't normally write reviews but this guy was a credit to the store. Don't see much service like that any more

Took my rooster into this bcf, looking to get a fishing rod custom made for my little cockerel, was told they don’t sell chicken rods? Left disappointed

By far its better than anaconda great overhead reels and heaps of light rods. Broke a Wilson blue steel. Bought it half price and gave me a full refund. How nice is that? Awesome service definitely deserve credit and respect. A little bit overpriced but at least you are paying for things that are in stock. Even give customers good tips for spots in ppb and other local squid and whiting spots. Great gear and great refund prices. Nice staff and great customer service. Cheers to all the hard working staff
