The food was rlly good but the service was even better! Unlimited banchan and we didn’t have to lift a finger to cook (thankq to that girl who said it was only her 2nd day) and all the staff were super sweet.had a rlly good time
we had 6/7 ppl and ordered 2 “codes” which was enough

I love the BBQ experience today - the meat quality was so good, japchae and spicy pork kimchi soup were so yum. And the service was very good

Miss a good charcoal bbq. Great quality meat. Great service. Loved the spicy marinated crab.

Everything is awesome especially their marinated raw crab staff is also friendly but the only thing I don’t like about is the way how the staff grill the meat. They preferred to cook it well-done, so make sure you tell them you want it to be medium rare beforehand.

Finally was able to try this new Korean restaurant given we couldn’t walk in last week and told had to book. Appreciate that but I think they can do much better in communicating this. Even a simple sign out front would be helpful or even help to take a booking for the next week?
Why not even offer takeaway? Not good enough to serve? Or just can’t cope? Too much business you can do without?

Portion sizes. Well… they are small to say the least. I think they really need to review this asap and provide better sizes as their competitors only 5 minutes up the road are much better.
We ordered the seafood pancake - about half the size of other places. The fried chicken was tiny - 400gms? Really? For $28 plus $2 for flavouring - so many of your competitors do it so much better.
Had one of their soups too - size of a rice bowl. Not really worth a main price.

Don’t recommend this place if you are looking for value for money and feeding a family. So many other choices close by.

One of the best Korean food experience we had here! Service was impeccable, the people were very attentive to our needs. Food was excellent, flavourful and portion is generous too! We had KFC, seafood pancake, spicy pork, definitely coming back to try more of their dishes!

BBQ CODE, the best Korean BBQ in Melbourne we were regulars at the Glen Waverley store and now they topped that with the awesome atmosphere at BBQ code Doncaster!

Ver disappointing. The food and soup are small in serving, the meats got burnt by the waiter serving.the side dishes and sauces provided with small variety. The bimbimbump was small in serving. As I have often eaten in Korean BBQ shop, I think it is the worst I have ever had. It made my family unhappy too as I have brought them there!

We have been to the Glen Waverley branch a few times. So we decided to try the new Doncaster branch that recently open.

We weren’t disappointed by the quality it was just like the other branch. They must use a very good supplier cause the meat quality is very high. Once cooked it so tender and juicy.

The staff are always so kind and helpful. They will help you cook the food and always ask you if you are ok or if you need anything.

If you haven’t tried Korean BBQ or you would like to try a new restaurant I highly recommend you come here. It won’t disappoint you!

Best place to eat! I recommend this for anyone who is looking for a place to sit and chill and have amazing food!

Food was delicious. Staff was very attentive and welcoming. Loved their chicken skewers. It would have been better with some beer. Hopefully, they get their liquor licence soon.

I ordered the pork set, seafood doo-boo, steamed egg, tteok-galbi, and cheese corn. Everything was delicious! The pork was especially good. It was tender, juicy, and flavorful. The seafood doo-boo was also very good. It was a hearty soup with plenty of seafood. The steamed egg was fluffy and delicious. The tteok-galbi was also very good. It was a flavorful beef patty with a crispy exterior. The cheese corn was a fun and delicious side dish. We also tried some beef. It was so juicy and high quality that it just melting in the mouth.

Service:

The service at BBQ Code was excellent. The staff was very attentive and helpful. They were always there to answer my questions and help me with my order. They also made sure to keep my grill clean and my food cooking properly.

Overall, I had a great experience at BBQ Code. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Korean BBQ experience.
