70This used to be one of the best kbbq restaurants in Melbourne, but since the last time we came here and Peter was the manager, it has definitely gone down hill. It took 25 mins for our drinks to come out after chasing this up, which then made the waitress realise she hadn’t put our food order through! The food came out in dribs and drabs and we had to chase up the sides and sauces which used to come out before the bbq meats or at least at the same time. Really disappointed as we use to love this place. But we won’t be coming back again
Fantastic service, and even better food for the price! You won't find better Korean BBQ in Melbourne.
My first time trying Korean BBQ last night. Had the waygu beef plate for 2. Food was amazing, service was amazing. Everyone was soooo lovely! Place had a lovely atmosphere that set the mood. 11/10 recommend
- Wagyu Tasting platter was extraordinary
- Staff were friendly and helpful
- Side dishes are amazing and refillable
- Prices are very reasonable
- Spacious compared to other KBBQ places
- I don’t have to shout for the person I’m dining with to hear me.
Been here many times and they never disappoint.
First time at Korean BBQ. Very very generous portions and could not finish our food. Beautiful service, very friendly and very accommodating.
Had a feast with my friends! Their BBQ set is definitely worth the price, huge portion and with great meat variety. Also have a range of different Korean dishes, like fried chicken and kimchi pancakes. We will definitely come back in the future!
The meal was amazing. All the meat was so tender and great quality- and the Kim chi pancake was so soft and crispy! The staff has made the experience a memorable one. Such a hidden gem in Melbourne city. Coming from Sydney, this is a great find
Fantastic BBQ. Unlimited side dishes. Friendly staff who helped with the cooking. Excellent food. Order the baby bro, and a Kim chi pancake. We are booked in again for next week.
Noisy and smelly! Bad ambient as bad ventilation and noise level is up to the max. Can’t hear and can’t talk unless you have to yell across the room.
Where on earth there is a korean bbq without salad to go with bbq-ed meat? !
Kimchi is sweet! Pancake is hard and too sweet too!
Grand Papa - not a papa! It’s like a baby! Meat is not that quality and not worth $189 a set.
Update version: I ordered another set of Grand papa after another 2 guests arrived; and that set came with more pork and chicken meat, very little premium wagyu beef unfortunately.
What my kids told me was “ no point saying anything further if they didn’t want to do anything. Let’s finish the food and don’t come again! ”!
Thank you for taking time replying my review, which I think that makes you a great waiter of the day!
We were early from our reservation and they were nice to give us our table. Ordered the Grand Papa and it was perfect for our group of 4. Service is quick and prompt. Food is generously portioned and reasonably priced too! The only set back was the table was too small. Highly recommended!
Such a bad experience. It was really overpriced. 4 pieces of meat for 98$. The only bbq place that doesn’t serve lettuce wrap which I found that very funny. PLEASE BEWARE THAT they charge extra 4$ for every kimchi refilling LIKE WHATT. I normally go to other bbq place and have like 10 refilling each time. Also, the stuff will cook the meat for you like no tomorrow, we were feel really pressure because it’s like they want to kick us out ASAP. Didn’t enjoy the meal.taste is 0/10 because everything was so sweet. GO FIND BETTER PLACE GUY.
We ordered the Big Brother set for 2 and seafood soup. The food was ok but nothing special. Kimchi and the marinated meat too sweet. I can’t even remember what the soup tasted like. I like the grills and the way it cooked. The staff was nice and helpful. But wont come back. I dont feel like it worths the price.
Honestly one of the best spots for Korean bbq!
Their meats are really high quality and they use full blood Australian wagyu. You also have to try their cold noodles!
It’s worth getting one of their set menus as it comes with a lot of things on the side like kimchi stew, sausage and rice cake skewer, and corn cheese.
Love their set up as well - one side grills the meat and the other side keeps everything warm.
Service was super friendly too!
Good place to enjoy Korean BBQ. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Food are ok but the smoke in the restaurant can choke you. Overall OK.
Unfortunately, it's way too noisy and the 90 min time limit means you basically have to eat and leave. There's no time to sit and chat or digest. The food is sensational though, it's just the atmosphere and time limit that weren't great.
Our go-to Korean bbq joint. Great meat and fried chicken. The staff are super friendly and are attentive and keep on top of the grilling. Good atmosphere for the family and our kids love it here too. Shout out to Peter for always accommodating our last minute bookings:)
Delicious tender meat. The baby brother and younger brother platter had great spread of meats. The staff are friendly, amazing and very attentive.
Absolutely love this place! First time visiting for my friends birthday and they also provided us some special dessert as well.
Will visit again! 10/10 recommended!
Overpriced! Service was super slow and they are clearly understaffed. Sat on long table with two stoves. We had to separate meats due to cultural preferences and the waiter kept saying that “they don’t usually do this”. The other stove was broken too. Uncooked meats left unattended for a long time on counter bench…. Food was good at least. Nothing great. Go somewhere else.
Took the family here and ordered the Grand Papa set. Was a struggle to finish due to the amount of food. Plenty of sides, which they were happy to top up when requested. Staff was also friendly and attentive. Overall solid experience.
