Bayview Motel Rosebud-Rye

Felt welcomed by Marissa the first time I walked into the Motel to look at the rooms. Rooms were very clean. Location is awesome right across the road from a beautiful beach but still close to all facilities. Will definitely stay there again.

Lovely big room, comfy big bed. Walking distance to the beach. Only thing I would suggest is with the layout of the room I would think about wall mounting the TV.

Comfortable room, great parking but the internet and tv need looking at. Management promised me that’s something they’re doing. Otherwise great for the price.

Great stay highly recommend the cleaning was fabulous and the owner is a beautiful guy love this place so much will be coming back ️

I stayed the night checked in Saturday 3pm under Desanka. Location and balcony is wonderful, the room was clean. I did find a cockroach on the bathroom door had to kill it.
The bed was springy it wasn't comfortable at all I didn't sleep and my lower back is sore.
The amount of money for one night via Wotif website $314 is just for the location, please consider changing the mattress as it's clearly old, and every time I toss and turn I could hear the springs. Not the best experience. Customer service was great though upon checking in and out. For that money I was expecting at least a better bed.

Exceeded our expectations given the reasonable price. The room was fresh and clean, the bed was comfy and the bathroom has had a recent uplift. Nothing to complain about! Thank you

Clean and spacious. The bathroom was nice. We needed a few extra items (bowls spoons and honey) staff were lovely and just handed them out straight away. Good location its close to beach. Even had our room tidied while we were out, didnt expect that so that was nice

Love this place we sit on the balcony looking the bay, watch people and cars go by. Super clean, great location. Always happy to go back to this motel

Room was ok toilet was blocked up and we didn't receive password for wifi but it was a great location

Leaking toilet, bleach on thin towels, no breakfast when we were told it included a continental 3, price so expensive $314 a night, would never go there again

A disgrace, leading up to the weekend my friends unfortunately contracted covid and to keep other people safe we decided to cancel our trip. This wasn’t our fault and all we asked for was our money back or at least use the money as credit for the future. Instead the business took our money and ran with it. Never staying here again and neither will be anyone I know.

Place was clean, but someone's long red hair left on shower tiles. Sheets had a rip in them, towels had bleach stains on them. No forks were present just 2 knifes so pretty hard to eat anything. No way to get out if there is a fire near the front door as ground floor rooms has all handles taken off security door.

Was very lucky to get a room at the last minute on New Years Day. Check in was super easy and guy at reception was friendly. Room was surprisingly good. Bathroom was modern and appeared newly renovated. Bed was good and the air con was excellent for the >30 degree day. This hotel is perfectly located right across the road from the beach and a service station next door.
Negatives: Parking was minimal, bed sheets were awful (very harsh sheets - definitely needs upgrading), horrible water temperatures in shower, situated on the main road - so you get traffic noise up until midnight, horrible location for internet (couldn't get coverage - No Wifi). Although there is a microwave - they give you x2 knifes, and a teaspoon. No forks or bowls to eat in.

Steep price for >$350 for 1 night, but considering this was the holidays on New Years day.would consider this a decent price.

Wonderful clean room, great beds, amazing staff, so accommodating and very friendly. We stayed five nights and we enjoyed every moment! We will be coming back to stay here. Thank you, Coral & Kerry

Lovely little motel between Rye and Rosebud, with easy access to the beach and to both town centres with a short drive or via nearby bus stop.

Staff are friendly and rooms are clean and as presented. Room 201 had a view of the beach (partly obscured by the trees) and Shell.

Would recommend to anyone looking to set up base for a short stay.

Very approachable, friendly and helpful. They even went above and beyond the normal call of duty to help me out (which is very rare). Upgraded me without adding extra cost.
