Bayside Mowers & Chainsaws reviews
12Always such amazing service. Nothing is too much trouble, even if your asking how to thread a brush cutter. Highly recommended.
My old Victa mower died and was the beyond help. The staff here were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to make sure I selected a replacement machine that was perfectly matched to my needs. Very happy with the outcome and have no hesitation in recommending this excellent local business
Really nice people to deal with good prices. Do local business is a big favour and support this company, the customer service here is relaxed but outstanding. They know there stuff.
I am disappointed with a service i had on my lawnmower it needed a spark plug cover & a service it cost me $122 which i was happy to pay, however it has been very hard to start sometimes it wont start at all when hot, it had never been a problem in the past, i have taken it back twice but it is still the same i really don't think anything had been done, very disappointed. I must say though during the time my lawnmower was being fixed i took my line trimer in to be fixed [$170] and i have only used it once but i think they have done a great job. Just a shame about the lawnmower
Shane, Robbo and Helen are a great example of why you should shop local. They offer great customer service and even during busy periods offer great advise and competitive prices. They keep you informed with items being serviced and get it back in good time. They are very good supporters of the needs of my business and I take all my gear there to get serviced.
After reviewing available options and dealers both online and in person, we recently purchased a new Hasqvarna ride on mower from Bayside Mowers and Chainsaws. We found Shane to be highly knowledgeable and honest in his interaction with us. Helen was very thorough providing us with a great overview of the new mower, offering tips on maintaining it in good working order in a way that was easily understood. We enjoyed the whole buying experience as well as their professional, friendly approach. Highly recommended. Gavin and Wendy
Bayside Mowers serviced my 15 Yr old Honda Mower within 3 days at a very competitive price. The mower now starts on first or second pull of the cord again. Great job, highly recommend.
Not great at all. Bought a Husqvana mower and a Honda whipper snipper from them a few years ago, as I wanted to support local. I have subsequently taken my WS back for servicing, as it was "cutting out". I was told it would be a week-or-so and I'll get a call. Eight weeks later I dropped in and was told that they'd tried calling? Got it home and it had the same issue, so dropped it back. Again, I had to go in as I hadn't been messaged after 6 weeks again. Now have the same issue again!
Looking for a new local now!
Dropped off my Honda Whipper Snipper and they did a great job servicing it. It hadn't been serviced for years, polite, professional and prompt. Will be a returning customer.
Same as the last review. Good honest advice, products and services. Great prices as well. Don't waste your time at Bunnings.
The folks at Bayside mowers know their stuff. Have been a client for over 5 years now. Well priced and great range of products.
Took the chain of my camping chainsaw in to this place to either purchase a file and guide, have the chain sharpened or purchase a new chain. The bloke I spoke to had a look and told me he could sharpen the chain no worries. He definitely wasn’t interested in me buying a sharpening kit. Now having worked for the Port of Melbourne Authority for 15 years as a Wharf Carpenter, I know my way around a chainsaw. I just happened to be too busy to argue about buying a file and guide.
When I picked up the chain I again being too busy didn’t inspect the job. When I got home I had a look at the chain and was pretty upset that every plate had a burred chisel. Wouldn’t cut balsa wood.
Bloody awful job. Wouldn’t go back there if it was the last place to get a chainsaw serviced within 100 km.
