Stayed again 2 weeks ago. Certainly not my first. So central to services, yet so quiet and peaceful.
Thank you Lyn and John, and your amazing staff. Everything was 100% kitchen so well catered for & stocked.

Such a wonderful stay! The accomodating was really clean, comfortable and spacious. The location was perfect - only a minutes walk to the beach. Our host, Lynn, could not have been more helpful.

Great rooms, with a good pricing. Perfect size rooms to be comfy. And I find with the rooms it just shows off the minimalist lifestyle with how much you can do with just basic things. It's really refreshing.

Older style but nicely modernized in a beachy theme. Self contained. Plenty of parking, garden, close to beach and not too close to town. Great beds. Reasonably quiet.

Rooms have ben recently refurbished with a lovely beach feel. Outside and inside is SUPER clean. You wouldn't find a cleaner place. The unit had everything we needed for a 2 week break. Very close to beach, parks, coffee shops and hot springs. We couldn't of wanted for a better accommodation. The managers Lyn & John were just fabulous and made our stay even more enjoyable. 100% recommend this place for a home away from home and good country hospitality. 7 stars from me!

What a delightful property to stumble across. You couldn’t be situated any closer to all of the major draw cards Warrnambool has to offer - beach, mineral springs, playground, mini golf, tennis courts etc.
A cosmetic renovation has turned these two brown brick accommodation blocks into a fresh and minimalist coastal stay.
Outside - undercover bbq area, park tables with umbrellas, rear beach access, large onsite car spaces, outdoor showers and a communal laundry.
Inside - two bedrooms, tv with Netflix, bathroom, wifi, air con and adjoining lounge/kitchen area.
What clearly makes this an outstanding stay is the welcome you get from Lynne. Friendly, happy, knows everyone staying and somehow you feel like you are home because she’s part of the furniture.
Don’t stay if you want 1000 thread count sheets or white bath robes/slippers. These are apartments that clearly have guests returning year on year who can look past a besser brick wall painted and see the beauty within.

Fantastic position, beach very short walk out the back gate, my wife & I had a great weekend.
Great BBQ, very much enjoyed the local flora & fauna.will recommend to anyone,

Good old fashioned hospitality at Bayside Lodge. We really enjoyed our stay. The 2 bedroom units with kitchenette are the perfect getaway. Free Netflix and wifi kept us entertained when we were in the rooms. We are all near or over 6ft tall, yet the bathroom was a winner for all, the shower was spacious and tall! The grounds are well kept, with plenty of space to throw a picnic blanket down or use the tables with umbrellas (in summer). Towards the rear of the property you can use the outdoor lounge bbq area. The rear gate gives access to pathway that leads to the boardwalk. Sit long enough and the local wildlife will come and say hello. Highly recommended by myself and two older teens.

Lynne and her staff were warm, welcoming and just went above and beyond to make our family stay comfortable. The playgrounds, Maritime Village museum are minutes away. Highly recommended and can't wait to return.

Great little retreat for this time of year, it's not your top end accommodation but perfect as a beach get away with all the activities that surround it.

Bayside Lodge Apartments are Warrnambool's best kept secret. Beautifully appointed apartments and in the best location with everything at your doorstep; Maritime Museum, Lake Pertobe, beaches, coastal walks, hot springs, mini golf and more. Our boys spent 2 full days at Lake Pertobe (arguably the best park in Victoria). To listen to the waves at night doesn't get any better on holidays!
The garden around the apartments was extensive and provided plenty of space for our boys to enjoy; the BBQ area was amazing with plenty of seating for all guests to enjoy. We loved the back entrance onto the beach and the outdoor shower area was delightful. Lynne was so welcoming, accommodating and friendly and knows everything (and everyone!) in Warrnambool. The only negative was we had to leave. The kids were almost crying driving out of the driveway and we planned our next holiday all the way home to Melbourne. We hope to be back at Easter doing everything we missed. Thank you Lynne for making it a memorable holiday!

I stayed for 3 nights, early January 2021. The apartments have recently been renovated with new everything inside, so having a brand new bathroom and carpet and couches was lovely. The apartment itself was spotless and the kitchenette contained everything you will need to make your own snacks or dinners. At night you can hear the water churning at the beach located behind the apartments and it quietens down after 10pm from the main street outside. Lynne was a wonderful host, very helpful in a number of situations I did require some urgent help. The only drawbacks: 1) if you are mobility impaired, you will require a downstairs apartment, and there are no ramps. 2) also about mobility impairment, the showers have a step of around an inch to get in and out. Overall I definitely will stay again. Great value for money and of course, the unlimited Netflix was a happy plus!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Lynne was so helpful and so welcoming from the very first start. Helped with recommendations around town and just an all round lovely person. The location is perfect and such a beautiful set up. We will definitely be back! I think we've found our go to place to stay in Warrnambool:) Thanks Lynne for having us xxx

I would have put 5 stars - because I couldn't fault the atmosphere, the welcoming owner (who contacted us through message bank to say she was sorry to miss seeing us go) and the lovely beach atmosphere of the unit. Would seriously come again. Great position - close to beach and amenities.

Excellent accommodation. Everything at your fingertips. Comfortable beds. So close to all facilities. Brand new refurbished, very tastfully done by Lyn who is an excellent host. Will be back very soon.

We have stayed here on 3 occasions and thoroughly enjoyed it each time. The units are very nice and tidy and have everything you need. The beds are comfortable and we appreciate having 2 bedrooms so the kids have their own space. The location is unbeatable with playground and beach a few mins away. Friendly staff are the icing on the cake. We'll be back!

We stayed here for 3 nights over the school holidays, before the second lockdown. From my first phone call to Lynn, to the end of our stay this was a great place to stay. Clean and well appointed, and a good rate. Lynn was eager to make our stay comfortable and happy, putting the heater on for us beforewe arrived. We would definitely stay here again.
