I feel scammed.
Had a blocked ear from wax. Was charged $100 and told to get some over the counter drops to soften the wax and come back the next day.
Charged a further $165 and the ears were worse than when i first went there after a botched procedure.
The Doctor recommended I go to the Ear, throat and Nose Hospital.
Instead, I went to Crystal Clear Ears in Brighton and in 10 minutes a Nurse had restored my hearing to 100%.
They should refund my Money under Consumer Law for not providing an adequate service.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr Habibi. He is a truly honourable, kind & empathetic Doctor. I highly recommend Dr Habibi.

Reported to health practicioners association in Victoria. Doctors here SURPRISE CHARGE the patients. Gov has no control over their pricing so they literally charge up to 1000 dollars for a 10 minute or 20 minute consultation about something as simple as Anti depressants. And they say they will charge about 100 at least (they are so smart!)

They are thieves, they are a disgrace to our society. They said they would refund me ASAP, but that was another one of their lies. Avoid this place at all costs.

I used to go there to see Dr Iyer. She was great, always fantastic. She is no longer there and the Dr I saw last time didn't seem too interested. Also the front staff are not very friendly. Changed Drs now.

Terrible reception. Called for information about a service. Terrible English and couldn't even tell me the cost of a service. When asked for the base price, I was given a pie-in-the-sky dollar figure. Terrible.

After reading the other comments and having a similar experience, safe to say this clinic is a purely focused on extorting money from Medicare, unnecessary appointments and tests, all for the purpose of milking Medicare it would seem

The worst experience I’ve ever had. The doctor I spoke with was so careless and showed no interest to my concerns. Not letting me speak and calling everything COVID without my explanation. I don’t understand how people like him get jobs. It’s kinda scary to know he’s advising people. Don’t go!

My life has changed! Dr. Soroush Habibi has changed my life! For years I have suffered with debilitating anxiety, I couldn’t do everyday tasks without panic attacks. I would feel constant nausea. Migraines that knock me out for days. I also have PCO’s and shocking menstrual cramps that don’t allow me to walk. I have had every test under the sun and every other doctor has just told me there is nothing I could do as I was a picture of health. I had seen Psychologists and Naturopaths among many other specialists to no avail. I thought I was just going to live my life with this heavy weight on my shoulders and a constant nauseating feeling. A dear friend told me about the benefits (and their great experience) with Medicinal Cannabis, so I looked into it myself. Dr. Soroush and the wonderful team at Pro Wellness Health were incredible! They were so understanding and explained every single step in the process. I could not be happier! Now I can do usual daily tasks, I no longer wake up with the dread of being nauseous all day! My migraines are not controlling my life! I can walk (and even run) when its that time of the month! Myself, my family and friends have noticed the fabulous and glowing difference in me! Words cannot express how grateful I am! Thank you so much! Again, my life has changed for the best! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

A money hungry practice with more interest in causing problems rather than fixing them. On arrival i was told my appointment would be $80 as i do not have medicare. I was with the doctor for 10 mins max.
Surprisingly, i was charged $160 for a 'long' consultation. They said my appointment was 34 minutes, which is an outright lie and scam. When i questioned it, I was given a discount of only -$40.
Over a month later, ive now been sent another invoice of $180. For testing that i didn't agree to or get any results from.
When i talked to staff about this, they were more interested in arguing rather than resolving the situation.
I must've called at least 5 times before i was put onto the supervisor, who was a lovely lady and was clearly only doing her job. However, i feel the ONLY reason i was refunded was because i talked to them about their horrible reviews. And they didn't want to risk getting another.
I wouldn't go back to this place even if it was the last place in Australia.

Cannot recommend this clinic and Dr. Habibi and staff highly enough, Dr. Habibi helped me navigate my health from a a life of pain and discomfort to genuine healing. Dr. Habibi's integrative approach to care is what I needed to help me overcome debilitating chronic fatigue and other health issues. Once I was able to go into the clinic I was well taken care of with a much needed IV and essentials to get me back on my feet faster. I would advise others to be wary of this clinic.

I had gone to this doctor for a few different medical issues over the past few months. He had earned my trust as I had gone in for a routine check up and an ear infection, both of which were pretty straight forward. He did, however, require me to make another appointment to receive the results of my tests even though everything was normal. One of the results was not in and he told me he would call me if anything was abnormal-I got no call. It seems that this was a perfectly normal and viable way to share the results with me the first time without me paying for a full doctor's visit.

I then went in with another minor problem, an infected ingrown toenail or some minor chilblains, neither of which were confirmed. He ordered hundreds of dollars worth of blood tests and then had me come back in to go over them. He found that I have a blood condition and he told me that because of this I needed to take special vitamins for the rest of my life, vitamins that I could only purchase at his clinic. I went back for a follow up appointment (and more blood tests) and asked if there were other ways to manage without the vitamins such as a change in diet. He told me no, they were my "life line" and I must take them. Either I take them or I would need to come in for an injection once a month.

I felt angry and suspicious as I had never had any health issues and didn't feel it was necessary to take vitamins. I had my blood results sent to another doctor and he confirmed that there was no reason to take any pills and that I was perfectly healthy. He also informed me that many people come to him after having a poor experience with Dr. Habibi.

I've been coming to this practice for the last 6 years or so. Very friendly and professional staff. Doctors are almost always on time for appointments, maximum time I've ever had to wait would be about ten minute witch i found incredible having waited an hour plus at previous practices. They are are also very patient and conscience whilst in your appointment and show proper care without rushing you!

Disgusting service by the lady there this morning no consideration at all for customers waiting for over an hr mocking customers in very unprofessional and unpleasant way to come across her was definitely a drainer for the day.

Unprofessional Reception with filling out my form and pay full price even though I had a Medicare card

I'm always very impressed with the service at Bay Street Medical. From a beautiful clinic, to friendly and kind receptionists, to a doctor I have the utmost confidence in (Dr Habibi), this is the clinic I will choose to go to for many years to come. The staff go above and beyond to look after their patients. I have always returned to full health under their care. Thank you Dr Habibi and staff!

Only go there as a last resort. Absolute money driven GP. Wont give test results over the phone, even when they are all clear, you have to go in, pay a consultation fee to be told "all good". Doctors ARE allowed to give results over the phone and via email. Doctors only say they cant so you book in for an appointment and they get paid.

On this one particular time, although I knew this based on their reputation in local community, I went there because they were the only ones available to get blood tests. I got my blood test results which said low iron. Came back for my results - they wanted to charge me another full consultation fee (every other doctor will bulk bill this) Dr Habibi insisted that I get an Iron transfusion done immediately, at his clinic because I will get charged so much more everywhere else. They charged me $400. The private clinic across the road charges $190.

Also, the receptionists speak amongst themselves in another language, which is always considering bad manners.

Dr Habibi is the most amazing doctor to say the very least! He is compassionate caring professional and always on time! DR HABIBI I am very happy with your service and also the counter staff's service too! Keep up the great work!

Dr Habibi has been accommodating, when I need an urgent appointment to see a doctor he is able to always help me. I am impressed with the treatment and care shown and I definitely recommend the clinic to my friends. The staff has been nice and friendly all the time, procedures and fees are explained prior to coming in so I know what I'll be expecting.

I will never return here. I booked my first appointment here only to find out that the Doctor wasn't even in the clinic at the time I was supposed to see him. He walked in the door 30mins after my scheduled appointment time. Not only is this one of the most expensive clinics for out of pocket, but they wanted me to pay for an appointment to get xray results! When I asked for my results to be printed and given to me they advised that they couldn't do that. The 2 reception girls the spoke to each other in Vietnamese (as they did during my first appointment) in a way that I knew they were referring to me.
