My young one has been there for two years now. Educators are great and accommodating. First place I have seen with great food options and consideration as per individual needs.

All the educators and centre itself provide a great service for all the children. Lovely staff and management. So happy with everything.

Absolutely amazing centre!
I’ve tried a few centres in Doreen previously and my little one absolutely hated them but not this one - she loves it here and the educators are just so loving and caring!

My sons have been here since mid 2021. They have formed great bonds with the educators and are confident with them. I had hiccups with admin in the past but the new director is doing a great job in amping up the management side of the centre. Both my children are have additional needs that are met. I recommend doing a tour if you're in the area.

Great Centre! My Grandsons go here and love it. I often do drop off and pick up and management and staff always make me feel welcome. We are very happy leaving our boys with these lovely and caring staff. Highly recommended.

Great Centre, quality care, educational programs and amazing caring educators and professional management. Staff and management have gone above and beyond for my family and children.
A lot of changes over the last 12-18 months and a big improvement in the vibe and happiness of the team and it really shows that they are improving the service based on feedback.
I have been with them for 3 years and highly recommend to all friends and family. The friends and family that I recommended to are also happy at the Centre. If you live in Doreen definitely call in for a tour and some enrolment forms!

My daughter loves it at the childcare. Staff are very friendly and caring. Quality of the care and service is exceptional. The centre is very organised. They have recently started using an app which sends real time notification about what your child is doing. I can't recommend this centre enough.

The fundamentals of our program are based on building a strong, respectful rapport with children, extending on their interests & learning process, expanding their wealth of knowledge & horizons, encouraging their independence, developing their positive disposition towards learning, reinforcing their sense of identity, and developing their social responsibility and respect for the environment. Furthermore, our kindergarten program offers an abundance of real-life experience, including excursions to local schools and parks, incursions involving dental health and visits by real-life animals!

By balancing play-based approach with routine and structure, our kindergarten program ensures that children are offered a range of new learning experiences and activities that are stimulating, exploratory and fun whereas routines develop children's emotional resilience and attention span.

MCM Early Years Hub, Doreen is part of the not for profit organisation Melbourne City Mission, which is dedicated to helping those in need and vulnerable people and families, within communities across Melbourne and Victoria, through various programs.
At MCM Doreen, we offer quality care and service as well as educational programs from as young as six weeks to pre school age children. We are inclusive and welcome diversity and all families to our Centre.
Our team is professional, qualified and are dedicated to early childhood education and offering all our children and families a wonderful and caring experience with us. We are always looking to improve our service and welcome feedback.
We are privileged to have three qualified kindergarten teachers onsite full time as we offer kindergarten programs for both three and four year old children, within our long day setting. Our educational programs for our babies and toddlers are lead by knowledgeable and qualified educators with experience and dedication. Our programs promote a play based learning approach and we listen and observe the children while interacting and engaging with children during play, so we know our children’s developmental levels and how to scaffold their learning. Children’s learning is shared with our families through an app, Story Park, so parents can stay informed and connected to our Centre and their child’s learning.
Our Centre has recently invested in a Sensory Room to provide an innovative and unique approach to learning. This offers a calming and relaxing environment for the children to experience learning through activating all their senses. The Sensory Room is available for use for all children enrolled, all ages and learning levels. Our children love this room!
Our service provides a weekly sports program and we are looking to incorporate a music and dance program soon. We provide a nutritious menu of 4 meals per day, plus a late snack that is prepared fresh daily by our qualified full time chef. He offers a range of different cultural meals that include variations to meet all dietary requirements and food restrictions. We offer incursions and excursions for our children as part of our educational programs.
We also recently welcomed the Melbourne City Mission ECIS Team onsite, so our families with additional needs children have access to early intervention services and support.
Our service fees are inclusive of all of the above! No hidden fees! Also included in the fees is nappies, wipes, sunscreen, all meals as well as our educational programs and kindergarten programs.

Had a very bad experience with our baby, management is rubbish, check your account regularly as they overcharge and don’t tell you anything unless you find out. Terrible

Never seen a team of educators so dedicated to their work and the children in their care. Top-notch quality program, esp their kinder program. Great centre.

My 3 kids have been going there for the last 2 years. They have such caring child care workers and kinder teachers and management has improved since they had so many changes. The kinder program is really great and the child care workers are so caring. I also love to be able to see pictures from the day and the reports on the kids on the app that they use. Would highly recommend MCM to anyone thinking of bringing their child to child care. Pilu

My daughter recently completed kindergarten from MCM Doreen. This is the best child care centre around the area.
My daughter was only 18 months when she was enrolled here. She always enjoyed this place. We are very satisfied with the service provided.
They serve very healthy and delicious food here.
All the staff, management and the chef are amazing.
