Basin Farm (The Bridge Program) reviews
9 This is a residential rehabilitation program, run by the Salvation Army.
I personally have been here 2 times, and both times have been exemplary. The staff are very warm and friendly and approachable, the management Fostering a culture of healing and recovery, set in such a beautiful spot of the world on 100 acres of farmland, you cannot really fault the place.
The program is extensive and diverse and I have learnt a lot from it, their model of care here is unlike any other rehabilitation program in Victoria.
The waiting list is long, but worth the wait to get into. If you are thinking about getting off of any substance abuse this is your place to do it.
I highly recommend it
I completed The Bridge Program.
The staff, the facilitators of the groups, residents, surroundings and Chaplain on site were AMAZING!
I can highly recommend the program to anyone that seeks help for their recovery. Thank You!
This place has so much potential to be phenomenal but due to some external factors it's going through some adjustment pains.
Everyone who works here is great and doing their best but I would wait a couple of months for things to settle.
I had some work to do here, nice place set on beautiful grounds.
Had a chance to meet some of the residents as well as staff and was impressed.
This place is all about the money. Our son was here, and could come and go as he pleased. No restrictions, might as well have been a hotel room. No help at all, complete waste of time. Glad I reported them to the health authorities.
Haven't been there yet but i look forward to going there from what i have seen and positive comments! Need help BIG time!
Scared at the start but didn't want to leave after my 4 months all the staff were wonderful xxxx
This place and everything and everyone in is totally AMAZING!
I had been to many detox centres over afew years and even went to Malvern Clinic (which was an overated terrible experience!).
I was lucky enough to get a place at the Bridge for a 16week program which I never thought I'd get through but by the end I didn't want to leave!
The Bridge offers top of the range 4 bedroom units, with all the luxuries and an extremely comfy bed for minimal cost. All utilities paid for, Dr's appt's and medicine' taken care of. 24/7 professional staff that really care, free haircuts and cheap dental. A great community, heaps of activities, a very generous shopping budget and all set on a very beautiful property owned by the Salvation Army. There is also heaps of downtime, access to your own mobile and a very good trust factor that enables you to leave the property.
This amazing program saved and changed my life and I can't thank them enough for all that they do and encourage you to get into this program if you can even though there is sometimes a long waiting list.hang in there and you'll never regret it.
BEST OF LUCK.
